Can you use two potions on the same turn? Devolution Spray: 1/2 "ok" and 1/2 Piece of Monkey Sh*t:) By: Tyler Grund The devolution spray can be used as a Full heal, but there is actually a double usefullness that is hidden in the card. The card states that you take OFF all stages of evolution off of one of your OWn Pokemon above a number of your choice. I.E. i have a charizard out, and i devolution spray all stage 2s. leaving me with a healed (not potioned) charmeleon. Actually using devolution spray as it was intended...as a Full Heal, is quite pointless. If you wanted to do this, use the actual card: Full heal. BUT, as i said, there is a double usefullness that is hard to realize. If you have a stage 2 evolution on one of your pokemon, and your opponent decides he wants to remove your energies from him, then you have a useless pokemon...since most stage 2s need a good amount of energys to work. Well, even if you pokemon is quite healthy, You can devolution spray, and bring your pokemon to either a stage 1, or back to basics. THis is great since most basics and stage 1s require either one energy or 2 colorless.... EXAMPLE: once again you've got a charizard out with 4 energys attached to the bugger...BUT you decide to wait a turn b4 using his power, but silly you, your opponent decides to energy and super energy remove your charizard, leaving a lonely energy on him.... at this point, your opponent thinks hes got your charizard in trouble, BUT, youve got a double colorless energy in your hand, AND a devolution spray. On your turn, you devolution spray your charizard BACk to a stage 1 charmeleon, and place the DBL colorless on him, NOW he can do 30 damage, whereas, the charizard had no hope. If anything, if you dont HAVE a dbl colorless, you can bring him back to charemander and do 10 damage, OR retreat him. So, as my long example shows, you can actually put devolution spray to use. The problem is, it becomes very specific in use. there isnt THAT many instances when you might use it.... ALL IN ALL, like most crappy trainers, devolution spray can be used quite effectivly in fun home games..to surprise your buddy, but I dont believe it is powerfull enough to be seen in any tourny deck anytime soon. ***yes:) you can use as many trainers as you want in one turn, which includes using one to 4! potions.
