ok, the pokemon Centre is actually a better card than i believe most 
give credit for.  There is a pretty good number of players who are 
misunderstanding the card, or are just plain confused.

Pokemon Centre allows you to heal the exact pokemon YOU WANT to to 
full health.  This means, YOU choose which pokemon are to be affected 
by this card. Once you have chosen your pokemon, you ONLY remove the 
energy cards from the HEALED pokemon....NOT every pokemon you control.

Example:

You have a Machop w/10 hp left and one energy on him, as active, a 
machoke at full power with no HP's missing, and a chansey at 40 hp 
left fully pumped with energy, sitting on your bench.  You play 
pokemon center and choose to heal ONLY the machop AND the chansey.  
you will then have to remove a total of 5 energys to the graveyard, 1 
from the machop, and 4 from chansey.  But the good thing, is you STILL 
get to keep the FULLY PUMPED machoke, to come in and Whoop up on your 
opponnent.
