Everyone likes Pokemon, especially rares. Some have aweosme have awesome
attackes that do lots of damage, or have great effects. But what about the
forgotten Trainer cards? No one I know wnats em anymore. But allow me to
explain some of the best Trainer cards to, the top 10 that is. The trainers
not only help your Pokemon, but they are also good for messing up your
oppenents Pokemon. Okay, here goes, the top ten Trainers.
11) Bill- This is an amazing card. I have three in my deck. It allows you
draw two cards, whenever you want. Which can make a real difference when it
comes to having energies and the Basics you need for the evolutions in your
hand. Not totally awesome, but pretty darn good.
10) Clefairy Doll- This isn't a good effect card, but it allows you one extra
turn to do whatever you want to. Whether you need cards, energies, or you
need to regenerate an attack (like Fire Spin). Not to good, but can make the
differenece in a close battle.
9) Gambler- Do you feel lucky tonight? This card CAN be better than Professer
Oak. Because you don't lose any cards except Gambler itself. And a cool trick
to do is wait till you have nothing in your hand but Gambler, and then use,
so the worst that'll happen is that you'll be replacing Gambler with one
card.
8) Energy Retrieval- Really good for getting back energies you lost on other
Pokemon. This might make the difference. Another cool trick is using this
card is taking an energy from your hand and using Energy Retrieval so you be
getting an extra energy. And who's gonna argue about an extra energy?
Especially since you get to use it twice.
7) Energy Removal- This is one of those cards I call "tick offs." Not only is
it common, but you can take an ENERGY CARD, not only just one energy. That
means even a Double Colorless. And with multiple Energy Romovals, take off
more energies. Which can really tick off your oppenent.
6) Super Energy Removal- Better than it's common version, but one problem-
you have to take off one of YOUR energies. Which is why this should be only
used in haymakers. But by discarding two of your oppenents energies, and by
making them take two turns to regenerate their attack, you can take advantage
of this time and knock out the oppenent.
5) Pokemon Breeder- Very good card. The first rare I got. I didn't know of
it's powers though. But now I do. You can skip one whole stage of evolution
and go straight to the Stage 2. WHich can really make the difference. For
example, in my water deck, I had a Poliwag, and a Poliwrath in my hand, but
my Poliwhirl was somewhere in my deck. But when I got Pokemon Breeder, i no
longer had to worry.
4) Switch- A great card to retreat injured Pokemon with high retreat costs.
Even for you Carizard lovers, if he has only 10 HP left, and you don't have
enough energies to retreat him, just use switch. Need I say more?
3) Mr. Fuji- Much better than Scoop Up. Take your injured Pokemon, and
everything attached to it, back into your deck. Which can not only save the
Pokemon, but also if your deck is thin, fatten it back up.
2) Gust Of Wind- This is another tick off card. I got scared when one of my
oppenents had a Venusaur on the bench, expecially because I had a Gyarados on
mine. So then i used Gust Of Wind and brought the Venusaur out to kill it
with my Dewgong. I was so releived. Add this card to your deck.
1) ENERGY SEARCH- When did you see a card this good? Get an energy out of
your deck whenever your want? What else can I say?
So there you have it. THe best 11 trainers. And if you don't beleive me, add
some to your deck and see how it plays out. So, happy battling, and happy
training!
