It's me, AerisVII, asking PoJo to post up this article for you to enjoy
^_^.  First of all, Fossil of Something is like a normal card- If you
want to put it in your deck, you can only put 4 of them in it, which
means that most decks can have only 1 pokemon that evolves from fossil,
which I happen to not like as Kabuto and Aerodactyl are my fav pokemon.
Most important of all, contrary to popular belief (gosh, I've always
wanted to say that phrase), FOSSIL CAN BE KNOCKED OUT!  If it couldn't be
knocked out, it wouldn't say 10 hp on it, now would it?  It just doesn't
count as a K-Od pokemon in the fact that if it's killed, you don't get a
prize.  A simple thing like looking at the resemblance of Fossil of
Something to Clefairy Doll would make this a whole lot easier.
Also, Fossil of something just sits there.  It can't retreat, which
means evolving Fossil of Something is even harder than evolving, say, an
Abra.  Sure, Abra has the worst hp for a "real" pokemon, but it has a 0
retreat cost, which means that you can evolve it on the bench without
worry of Abra dying (but now, it's hard to even keep them alive on the
BENCH).
There is one good note though.  Fossil of something can double up as a
clefairy doll when it comes up to pumping up Wigglytuff's Do The Wave
attack, which can slam an easier 60 damage plus the ability to evolve
while Wigglytuff's pummeling the damage out.  Thanks for listening to my
2 cents...

Good luck in the future,
Dan "AerisVII" Murphy
