Hiya Pojo. This is my article on charizard. Uh yeah.. whateva. Hehe.
Whats all the fuss about Charizard? I thought that everyone knew that
Charizard wasn't good?
Well I guess not as he makes a come back with the losers on his side. I am
now going to tell you
every single reason why Charizard is not good. The only way he works? An
energy retrival deck
centering COMPLETELY around the big red hype. So now to why he sucks!

1. Energy Drainer: Oh yes he DOES drain energy doesn't he? People say "Oh
but you can just put 10
energy on him and he's devastating." Of course he's devastating if he has
10 energy on morons! But
Are you REALLY going to take the time to power up a Pokemon while your
oppenent takes all of your
other Pokemon quickly and easily before you can get him out. What if you
get your charizard out
early you say? Well put simply the most popular decks right now (Haymaker,
Raindance, Wigglymaker,
Mr. Mime Stall) stop this card DEAD in it's tracks. How? Well 1. Haymaker
is energy removal. The
average haymaker removes 8 energys a game. Even more when played with item
finders. (I play 2) So
Haymakers kill this fire breathing loser. 2. Raindance? Nuff' said. Water
is the big red hypes
weakness. And blastoise kills it in one hit. 3. Next? The wigglymaker. The
Wigglymaker is a haymaker
that uses Wigglytuffs, so in fact it energy removals the beast AGAIN and
kills it without any
energy. 4. And finally Mr. Mime. Why Mr. Mime you say? Well Mr. Mime
destroys Charizard quickly.
Because of it's awesome power.

2. Time drainer: Time drainer? Whats that? Well that simply mean he takes
to long to use. At the
least for Charizard to be at max power you need 8 energys. the least turns
for that to happen? 4.
Then don't forget that that will be ALL of your double colorless for the
game. Then what about
your other Pokemon? Haymaker, the most commonly used deck kills a charizard
decks pokemon. Rain
Dance kills it. Any GOOD deck kills it!

3. Not good enough: Good decks like Rain Dance, Haymaker, Holy Kanghaskan,
etc.. are all good
enough to win tourneys. Not a Charizard deck. In the 12 tournys I've been
to I have not seen ONE
charizard deck win. Or make it into the top 4 for that matter! Simply
becuase it ISN'T good enough
to win tournys!

4. Energy Removal: Ah yes, energy removal the Charizard killer. Mostly
found in EVERY good deck.
It destroys a charizard deck swiftly. Yet another reason why charizard
decks don't work.

Overall I'd have to say that Charizard decks aren't that bad. It's just
that they won't win
tourneys. Little kids have fun with these decks! But don't use it in a
tourny. See ya later!
