Hi Pojo. It's K. Sharp again. I was looking at the Fossil Spoiler today and 
saw two cards that at first sight looked like they might go into the "old 
fashoned" Haymaker. (I'm talking Hitmonchan and Electabuzz) I've always 
liked Haymakers because of their speed and finesse. So here are the cards 
that I think might just make it into the New-Old Fashioned Haymaker

First up, the brand spankin' new Magmar!

Attacks:
[R] Smokescreen (10) If the Defending Pokemon tries to attack during your 
opponent's next turn, your opponent flips a coin.  If tails, Defender's 
attack does nothing.
[RR] Smog (20) Flip coin.  If heads, defender is Poisoned.

This guy has promise. 70 HP, Basic, good attacks, and another advantage, 
only a retreat cost of 1! I've also always been a fan of Poison, but I think 
this guy will be finding his way into a few good Haymakers.

Next a water, (WHAT THE HELL?!?!), yes WATER card, it's called Lapras.

Name: Lapras

HP: 80
Weakness: Lightning
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: 2
Attacks:
[W] Water Gun (10+) For each W attached to Lapras that exceeds requirements, 
add 10 damage to attack (max 2).
[WW] Confuse Ray (10) Flip coin.  If heads, then defender is confused.

He's a tad bit tougher than the usual, with 80 HP.  I've heard some people 
say confusion isn't any good, but it works great.  Water gun is okay.  This 
card would probally make it, if it weren't for Hitmonchan.  He's my least 
favorite of the 4 (not counting Scyther because he's practically colorless,) 
but he'll find his way into a few haymakers and probally some raindances. 
(Non-sucky water basic.)

So, what will the new-old-fashioned Haymakers be like? It's a pretty close 
call, since their all about equal.  I like them all a lot, so I'm going to 
wait before I choose.
