Some kid came in here claiming that Charizaard was the best card. Man he is 
misinformed. His name was Michael and he claimed fire was the best type. Man 
how misinformed can you get? OK, here are the best types in ym opinion:
1:Grass,Water,Psychic,Fighting, Electric, Colorless.
7: Fire
Why? Well lets see, all tourny winning decks have the type of stage 1 pokemon 
that kicks ass. Lets start from the top:
Grass: Scyther and Pinsir. These two kick ass. While kicking ass with 
Scyther, bring out a fully pumped Pinsir and do Guillotine. End of story.

Water: No basics, but Rain Dance, need I say more?

Psychic: Mr.mime and his awesome Power. Fire cant touch him.

Fighting: Himtonchan, Dugtrio, Machamp, all do devestating attacks. The onyl 
exception is that Charizard has resistance to fighting. But that is if 
Charizard gets a chance to evolve!

Electric: Electabuzz, Electabuzz, ELECTABUZZ!!! For only 2 frickin energy 
does 40 damage. Charizard would die within seconds.

Colroless: Too many to name, Chansey....Kangaskhan....Tauros....and even 
Farfetch'd! Now lets look at fires only bets.

Fire: Nintales, 80 HP, two Special Punches or Thunderpunches and ninetales is 
deadtales. Arcanine. 80 but 30 to himself. He'll wind up killing hiself one 
way or another. Magmar. Dont even go there...Charizard? Hmmm, thats even if, 
and I mean IF he gets a chance to evolve. He wont. Lets see the trainers that 
work against fire:
Gust of Wind
ER, SER
Defender
Pluspower
It doesnt matter but every tourny winning deck has ER and Super ER and 
without enough energy, you cant win. I know you can do this to many other 
decks but Grass, Fighting, Electric and Water which I think are the most 
popular dont gobble up that much energy. Lets face it people, Fire is 
hopeless. Even the new Magmar and Moltres wont save it from its demise....

Beg to differ? Which I doubt you will....
