Now, I know everyone is talking about Aerodactyl and how his power is so good and everything, but there are other cards that can disable decks too. Once, Fossil comes out, many people will create brand new decks based around disabling the other players deck. There are two cards in the Fossil set that I know of that will render most decks absolutely helpless. Let's look at Aerodactyl: Pokemon name: Aerodactyl Pokemon number: 142 Type: Fighting Evolution: Stage 1 - from Fossil Level: 28 HP: 60 Weakness: Grass Resistence: Fighting -30 Retreat Cost: 2 Attacks: Power: Primitive Strength(or something similar): While this card is in play, neither player may evolve any pokemon. This power may not be used if Aerodactyl is asleep, confused or paralyzed. (3 Colorless) Wing Attack (30) This card is best suited as a bench warmer, much like Alakazam. The perfect addition to a Haymaker deck, he can sit cosily while your Hitmonchan and Scyther KO the pathetic Charmander and Squirtle the opponent can't evolve. Another great disabler is Muk: Pokemon Name: Muk Pokemon Number: 89 Type: Grass Evolution: Stage 1 - from Grimer Level: 34 HP: 70 Weakness: Psychic Resistance: none Retreat Cost: 2 Attacks: Power: Chemically Changing Gas: When this card is in play, all Pokemon Powers are disabled, except for this one. This power can't be used if Muk is asleep, confused, or paralyzed. (3 Grass) Sludge Attack (30) Flip a coin. If heads, the defender is now poisoned. Personally, I think Muk is the better card to use if you're only focusing on disabling cards like Blastoise and Mr. Mime. His attack is slightly better than Aero's due to the possible poisoning and he has 10 more HP. If, on the other hand, you want to keep your opponent from raising the HP and Attacks of his pokemon, then Aero's the bird of choice. Either way, decks like Rain Dance and Invisible Stall are going to be obsolete when Fossil comes out. -Jenny G. P.S. Please post this Pojo! ^-^
