 Pokemon City Championship Tournament Report
Crestline, CA Round Table Pizza Jan. 7th 2007
 Masters - 26 Seniors - 18 Juniors - 4
After a strong performance at Lancaster I decided to play the same deck at Crestline. The deck is called Bick. I'm not going to give out a deck list because I don't anyone taking the concept of my deck.
The drive up to Crestline was strenuous. Curvy mountain roads all the there. When I got there I turned in my deck list and got ready to play.
Round 1 Vs Alex I think.
He started with a Heracross as his only pokemon so my basics couldn't even attack which sucked. I finally got a Banette ex out and took out that annoying Heracross. He eventually got a Flygon ex out but by that time I had 3 Banette ex powered up. 1-0
 Round 2 Vs David Hoff.
David wasn't supposed to be my opponent in the first place. I got paired with someone else and we had already started our match when the judges said they would have to redue all of the pairings. I was winning that match too. So I end playing David and he was playing Metanite. He is a very slow player. In 15 minutes I only had 6 energies out. But right before time was called I took my last prize. He only got one. 2-0
 Round 3 Vs Leo Orta
Another Metanite deck. Leo ended up beating me because every time I put out a Battle Frontier he used a Windstorm. GG anyway. 2-1
I know if I can win my last round I would make top 8.
 Round 4 Vs Jeff McDermaid
He was playing a Raichu d and Primeape d deck. Crystal Beach shut off his Scramble and Double Rainbow energies. Both of his Battle Frontier and Windstorm were prized. 3-1
Yes, I made top 8. The top 8 went to Match Play.
Round 5 Vs David Hoff again.
Me against a really slow player in best 2 out of 3. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. First match I won in 15 minutes and the 2nd one I won in 8 minutes. 4-1 Yes, top 4. The only problem was it was getting dark and my parents wanted to leave because they didn't want to drive down the mountain in the dark. So I wished everyone good luck and settled for 4th place.
Props: Me for making top 4 two CC in a row. My awesome deck.
Slops: Having to leave early. Losing to a Metanite deck.
I will be at Irvine CC this coming Saturday. See everyone there.
