The Key Strategy: Ok, you’ve seen this deck on numerous ECSTS deck reports, thus no need to explain myself.

Lots of People there tonight.  Watched a few pre-games and then it started.

Round 1 vs. Typhlosion Deck with B’s Arcanine

He starts with Growlithe and gets to go first.  He builds up his bench with Cyndaquils and stokes.  I had a Totodile or something I think.  Turn 3 I had a fully pumped Feraligatr and another one about to get pumped.  Even his Typhlosions were no match for Fera. =/

Record: 1-0 3 points

Round 2 vs. Feraligatr

Was a close game at first..then it started going between each other’s elekid flips.  We kept getting tials until he had a luck streak and 0wned me.  Time was called soon when the prize count was 2-4 in his favor.

Record: 1-1 3 points

Round 3 vs. Weird Grass Deck

This guy had a grass deck which worried me at first.  But he wasn’t able to get past my cleffa’s baby rule and I was able to build up toto into croco and then fera, and 0wned his few pokeyman like wh0a.  Pretty quick victory, for going against grass.

Record: 2-1 6 points

During the extra time I had, I played a rematch, and won again.

Round 4 vs. Another Fire Deck

Pretty sad, I just 0wned him like wh0a at the beginning.  I got a turn 3 croco doing sweep away, while all he had was a blaine’s growlithe and a few quilavas on the bench.  After about 5 turns of him just trying to stall…I took out all his Pokemon and won.

Record: 3-1 9 points

I talked with Dave Messinger a bit and he said he wanted to see how his tyranitar could hold against a fera deck.  Surprisingly, we ended up playing each other in the last round.

Round 5 vs. Dave Messinger with Tyranitar

Pretty quick Match. We both started with crap, but I got some better crap around turn 4 and 5 and got croconaw out eventually after that.  All he had was a magby, a cleffa, and 2 unown D. I quickly went through them like a hot knife through butter. (bad analogy =/)

Record: 4-1 12 points

I came in second for my age group, for which I won a few promos for winning, including the new misdreavus and a flying pikachu promos.
