This tourney was an open standard event.  The 1st rounds were round robin.
You had to battle everyone once.  The Top 8 made it to finals.  1st prize
was a voucher for a NEO Revelation Booster Box.  2nd Prize was 3 packs of
NEO Revelation and a Happy Birthday Pikachu.  Everyone that entered
received a Surfing Pikachu promo card.

I decided to play a teched out Wiggly deck to counter any Slowkings,
Sprout Towers/Unown N decks.  Wiggly is also the perfect Sneasal killer.
One Wave knocks out the broken Weasal card.  I was tired of seeing
Slowking/Sneasal decks dominate and everyone thinks Wiggly is dead.  So
this was quite a surprise for people to see.  No one in this area hardly
ever plays Chan anymore so I wasn't too worried about that.  One final
note, nearly everyone there wanted to see me lose as I have won the last 2
tourneys there.  The NEO Discovery tourney I won with a Clefable/Kindle
deck and the Southern Islands tourney I won with a Typhlosion deck.  So
the odds were stacked against me.

Strategy:   The NR Gym/Lass is one of the most important combos to this
deck's performance.  No Removal takes out the annoying Sprout Towers.
Then with a well timed Lass/Eeeeeeek combo the opponent's removals have
little effect against this deck.  The Igglybuffs are to counter any Unown
N and Slowkings.  I can also evolve the Igglybuffs into Jigglypuffs to
counter Erika's Dratini. Scyther is there to demolish Gligars.

Round Robin Matches:  Without going into exact details since I played 11
matches I played the 4 hardest players first four matches to get them out
of the way.  I ended up 1-3.  I should have been 2-2 but Joe (firefighter
 09) I opened up with a Cleffa against his Sneasal.  He goes 1st and
attaches a Dark and then flips 4 heads in a row for a FTK.  People at this
point were like "Yeah  John will never make the finals."  After that I won
my next 7 matches in a row to finish with a 8-3 record to advance to the
next round and into the top 8.  The Top 8 standings were:

1.)   David Dame with Haymaker with Murkrow
 2.)   Me with Tuff's revenge
3.)   Adam Smith with Kindle Haymaker
 4.)   Dale with Sneasal Haymaker
 5.)   Devon with Kindle Haymaker
 6.)   Ben with Sneasal Haymaker
 7.)   LuMaga with a Steelix/Rapid Spin deck
 8.)   Nick with Sneasal Haymaker

Quarter-finals versus Ben:  Ben was running a  Haymaker with 2 Chans,
Sneasal, Chansey, E. Dratini, Energy Flow/Pokemon Center and Imp. Oak's
Revenge.  If you ask me he had too many themes going on in one deck.
Luckily for me he could not get his Chans out.  Ben had an Erika's Dratini
vs. my Igglybuff.  I had a Cleffa, Jigglypuff, and Scyhter benched.  I
attached a Recycle to Igglybuff and Lassed his hand.  He ends up attaching
a DCE to Dratini and Tail Strikes for 10.  I evolve the Igglybuff into
Jigglypuff and attach another Recycle and Pound for 20.  He attaches a
Rainbow to a benched Sneasal and Tail Strikes for 30.  I attach a G. Berry
to the evolved Jigglypuff and knock his Dratini.  He sends out Sneasal and
Fury Swipes for 10.  I lullaby for a couple of turns to set up for a
series of Waves.  He benches two Chanseys.  I Oak and proceed to Wave his
Sneasal and 2 Chanseys for the win.

 Record 9-3

Semi- Finals versus Devon:  Devon is Ben's 12 year old son.  Devon has a
tendency to copy people's decks.  This time Devon copied a deck idea that
I have been playing for months.  Kindle decks are Hyper energy removal
decks that run 4 ER, 4 SER, 4 IF, and the Recycle Energy/Kindle combo with
Blaine's Charmander.  The main weakness of this deck is that they are too
trainer reliant with 70 or lower HP Pokemon.  Devon starts with Blaine's
Charmander and Electabuzz.  I Lass/Eeeeeeek 1st turn and that totally
wrecks him.  I Swords Dance with a Scyther  after that and took out his
 Charmander and Electabuzz this way.

 Record 10-3

Finals versus Adam:  Adam had the upper hand most of the match as he was
able to get out Sprout Tower and remove all 4 of my DCE's.  I did manage a
late comeback with the Recycle energies and the No Removal Gym. We were
tied on prizes 4-4 when time was called.  It now went into a 15 minute
sudden death match.  I get the roll and go first.  It is my Scyther vs his
Buzz.  I attach a grass to Scyther and Lass.  He has all trainers and 1
DCE.  I then Swords Dance.  Adam goes and draws a lightning.  He
Thundershocks me with no paralyzation.  I top deck an Oak and get the DCE
and Plus Power for the win.

 Record 11-3

Props to Excellent Adventures for having so many cool prizes.
 Props to a 3 Peat.
