Art has returned and is back with a new deck.  After another week of playtesting and a few tweaks, I decided to debut my Erika's Victreebel deck:

Duterte Green 1.0 (for lack of a better name)
4 Erika's Bellsprout 50 HP (Gym Heroes)
3 Erika's Weepinbell 70 HP (Gym Heroes)
3 Erika's Victreebel (Gym Heroes)
3 Cleffa (Neo Genesis)
2 Murkrow (Neo Genesis)
2 Rocket's Scyther (Gym Heroes)
2 Smeargle (Neo Discovery)
1 Elekid (Neo Genesis)

14 Grass Energy
4 Darkness Energy (Neo Genesis)

4 Professor Elm (Neo Genesis)
3 Erika's Maids (Gym Heroes)
3 Focus Band (Neo Genesis)
3 Chaos Gym (Gym Challenge)
3 Celadon City Gym (Gym Heroes)
2 Nightly Garbage Run (Team Rocket)
2 Double Gust (Neo Genesis)
2 Misty's Wrath (Gym Heroes)

This deck is loaded with little strategies and combos.  You try to get some Erika's Victreebel's out while you attack with something like Rocket's Scyther, Erika's Weepinbell, or Erika's Victreebel.  This deck can probably beat any deck except Fires.  Basic math: Lone Totodile + (Erika's Bellsprout, Darkness, loads of search/drawing, or a combo of all) = 3 points.  When playing Fires, you have to attack with Erika's Weepinbell with the status effects and have a Smeargle ready to go with 1 Energy on it ready to Sketch.  If you can lock a Cleffa with Murkrow and get a Chaos Gym out, that'll help even more, especially once they burn all their Double Gusts.  I figured this deck has lots more strategies than Feraligatr, which is probably why I'd play it.

I go to the tournament and I see anti-Feraligatr all over the place, ie, GRASS.  I wish I had the cards to build a Fires deck -_- So anyway, the tournament's about to start, let's go!

Round 1 vs. Dave Messinger (G/W Erika's Victreebel)
This was extremely slow, we spent the game building up our bench and sapping each other's Victreebels.  I was up a prize and we had like, 3 minutes to go.  I wasn't stalling but I wasn't in a hurry either.  I managed to power up a Rocket's Scyther, and had two tries on Fragrence Trap and got it, and pulled up a Wooper and KO'd it, which was all I needed.  I'll take the time win.
Record: 1-0 (2 points)

Round 2 vs. Brian Friedlander (W Feraligatr)
I thought he was playing Fires and that I was screwed, but I saw a Water energy on the bottom of his deck, and thought this would be an easy match.  But geez, I couldn't draw much Energy when I needed it!  I did get an Erika's Weepinbell to supress a Feraligatr and a Chaos Gym for him to get through.  We were hardly getting any KO's and it was pretty much a Babies battle.  We took it to time, crike.
Record: 1-0-1 (3 points)

Round 3 vs. Some n00b (G Dratini/Zubat)
Um, this was some newbie, Rocket's Scyther took care of him =\
Record: 2-0-1 (6 points)

Round 4 vs. Ryan Byrd (G Erika's Victreebel)
Well, I was getting crap and didn't get any Erika's Maids or anything, and he was getting through all the Chaos Gym flips, and he basically got a Victreebel and Knocked out my weak basics
Record: 2-1-1 (6 points)

Round 5 vs. David Duterte, my bro (F Tyranitar/Umbreon)
This was a win, I got my Erika's Victreebel powered and out turn 3 and a Chaos Gym in play.  He wasn't drawing good stuff and I cleaned him.
Record: 3-1-1 (9 points)

One loss isn't anything to complain about, ties don't really affect you that much in the DCI.... I hope (^_^;;)  I ended up getting 3rd in 11-14 which earned me my like, 4th Happy Birthday Pikachu (What's this, a new deck idea? >=D)  I need to tweak this deck for the Sunday Waldenbooks tournament, maybe another Misty's Wrath or Maids, can't get a 4th Cleffa.

Props And Slops
Um, I think that's enough Props and Slops ^_^;;  See you this Sunday at Waldenbooks!
