Okay so it has been forever since I have written a KDR, but I'm gonna take a

deep breath, and just wing it! Yea! Wing it! This is sort of a weird kind of

tournament. I was at Pokemon League, and one of the guys who runs the

tournaments/leagues said there was gonna be a free (is there anything better

in this world?) tournament, with prizes! (though the prizes were packs of

cards that were on sale [Fossil and Team Rocket], a free tourney is a free

tourney) So we take a second, finish up our battles (which I had just started

with my brother, bleh!), and were off, Swiss style!

The Deck

Heh, atleast I think it is funny... okay, on to the report!

Round 1 Arithmetic vs Slowking (MY Slowking, hey, MY brother!)

Yes, I played my brother in the first round, and since he has no cards (but

still a decent player, he just quit for a while), he was playing my newly

completed Slowking deck. So we begin, I go first so I pull the lass+eek combo

out, nothing but another lass in his hand, darn. I manage to get the lucky

flip for the baby rule with plasma and a plus power to knock out his drawing

power, now he is left with a dark energy. He attached to Sneasel (removed it

bleh!) then passed. I managed to take down some Pokemon for some quick

prizes, but he finally gets the Oak after 5 or so turns. Gets out 1 Slowking,

I gazed it, then went for the sneasel. I quickly got rid of it, (plus i

discarded 3 dark energies in the beginning) and went through the rest of his

Pokemon like butter.

Record: 1-0

Round 2 Arithmetic vs Some kid with ohhhh, you dont want to know....

Sorry for making this short, but heck, it was short! We didn't get started

until the kid found his metal pikachu coin (???). Finally he found it and we

were on our way. Oh know, a Psyduck, Im friggin' screwed!!! (Sarcasm Detector

blows to pieces). Plasma with plus power knocked it out, leaving some

pikachus and crap left. Electroburned the entire game away,

YAHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOO!

Record: 2-0

Round 3 Arithmetic vs Amy with Sabrina's Kazam, Slowking, Sneasel, Mewtwo,

Rockets Mewtwo, just load of crap

Amy goes to my other league at Amazing Fantasy and is pretty good (A little

weird, but good none the less), so I am taking this game seriously. Basically

I get some quick prizes in the beginning, but she gets some lucky flips with

Life Drain and knocks some Pokemon out aswell. We get to the time limit, and

time is called, but we are tied at 3 prizes each, and the host is breathing

down my knocked, nagging me to make a move (what the hell is this?!) I didn't

mind that much, but it was still annoying. So I make my move, attach to the

buzz, and go for the thundershock, tails. She puts 40 on my buzz with a plus

powered psyshot, and it looks bad for me. She gets the gold berry on him

twice, holding me back a few turns (not good when your deck is at 5 or so

cards). So she makes a reallll bad move, and evolves to kazam and finds

something to attack with, HAHA she had nothing but crap on her bench. So I

get an energy attached to the Zapdos, plasma to get energy back, and soon

have him powered up for electro burn and won the game. Whew, that was a close

one!

Record: 3-0

Final Round (Already?!) Arithmetic vs Weird Haymaker that I saw little of

The reason I saw little of it wasn't because it was short, but because, I saw

little of it! For half the game all I saw was Scyther and Ditto. So I use my

math skills (which are rather limited) and knock down some Pokes with

Scyther. He made the dumb move of leaving a 30 HP damaged Ditto up, so after

5 minutes of thinking, I finally saw the stupid cleffa on the bench and knock

the ditto out, then start to power up another zapdos (he manage to put 50 on

my poor other one). After he removes me a few times, I get him powered up and

knocked out some Pokes. He had 5 prizes when Peter (the host) said 45

seconds, so he gave up and i won, YAY!

Record: 4-0

So I took 4 fossil boosters and 3 Team Rocket. Yay!
