Rocket's Zapdos Anger

    Hello everyone. This is my deck which i brought with me to Westminster

for the STS Qualifier. The name i gave it was Rocket's Zapdos Anger. Before i

tell you about my day at the Qualifier i would like to show you my deck.

    Ok well my day began when i had to drive a hour to get to the Westminster

Mall.  I was pretty close to the beginning of the line so it did not take me

that long to get a card time for the day. Once i got my card time i walked

over to the area which i belive was

B-1. Well I got there and waited for the first round to begin.

Round 1: Rocket zapdos anger vs ??????????

They told use that there were not that many players for that flight so we all

were given a Bye to the next round which made me very happy.

Round 2: Rocket's zapdos anger vs. Kid with a scyther deck

This game was one of my easiest of the day. When both fliped over are cards.

I had a ditto as active and Rocket's Zapdos on bench and all he had was

scyther. I played a double colorless and did Swords Dance. On his turn I know

i won if he did not put down a bench or energy removal and guess what he did

neither so he played a double colorless and passed. I smiled as i picked up

my card for the turn then land down a electric energy and plus powers then

doing slash for 70 damage. OK i won second turn.

Round 3: Rocket's zapdos anger vs little kid with clefable deck

I was kind of shocked on who i was playing cause a Father who had brought a

few of his kids down that i was friends with had a son in that round in which

i was facing.  Still I did not go easy on him. I went first having a sneasel

as active and rocket's zapdos and Ditto on bench while he had a clefairy as

active and one on his bench. I started by puting down a darkness energy and

doing fury swipes dealing 30 damage. He powered up his benched clefiary with

a double colorless and passed. I then played another darkness energy and

oaked droped electabuzz, ditto, and chancey on my bench then did beat up

drawing a prize. He then brought up his bench clefairy and evolved it into a

clefable. he attack by copying beat up but it did no damage. I then attached

another darkness energy to sneasel and a plus power then attacking with beat

up knocking him out to win the game because of no bench.

Round 4: Rocket's zapdos anger vs. Rocket zapdos deck.

I was glad when i was paired up with him and not with one of my friends who

had made it to the 4th round as well. This game was very quick one. I started

out with a ditto and sneasel as he started with two rocket zapdos. Again I

went first by play a double colorless energy then attacking with plasma.

After he attacked me with plasma i then again attached another Double

colorless energy and also a goldberry then did electroburn to grab a prize. I

placed 2 damage counters on with the 2 others i had when my oppenent argued

that electroburn did 3 to me but i hold him that it only did 2 because the

card says energy card and not energys. The refee came over and said it does 3

damage which i know was wrong. Well we continued the game as he brought up

his other rocket zapdos and plasma ditto for 20 which then he knew that he

lost sinces i would electroburn him so he gave up. I was so happy when i won.

I got 24 packs. a shirt and, a hat.

Break time:

after winning my way to the top 16 i went to get myself some lunch.  I bought

myself some panda express and sat down with my friend who had helped me with

fixing my deck while i waited in line for the Qualifier. For that i gave him

4 packs. After lunch i had at least 2 hours of free time so i went to the

arcade to play Marvels vs Capcom 2.

this game came down to the wire for the both of use. The whole game is fuzzy

to me and i only remeber that he was a head with one prize left and i choose

to take out his muk by bring out my Electabuzz instead of A sneasel with two

dark energies on it. (dang i still kick and hit myself for that.) Well with

that i had a gold berry on electabuzz and 3 damage counters so i hoped for a

tails on electricpunch but got a heads. He brought out a benched wooper with

a grass energy attached. he then placed a darkness energy on wooper and plus

power then choose to do slam. first flip was tail but second flip was heads.

Game over with a knock out.

Props to my mother who took both sat and sun to drive me and hour there and

back.

Slops to the one judge who told me the electroburn did 30 instead of 20

Slops to wizards who did not advertise that they where selling round-trip

plane tickets to New Jersey only to the winners of the trips who needed them

for other family members

Slops to my packs in which i pulled no Metal eneries out of.
