In all my days of playing the Pokemon TCG I would have to say this deck is
right up there. The whole idea of my deck is to shut down colorless Pokemon
while still keeping the game fun. Originally this was meant to go against
Clefairy and Clefable by using Sprout Towers to lower there metronome
attacks. I also chose Pokemon with attacks 30 or below. If I have a Sprout
Tower out they are useless. My opponent chooses the pace at which we will
play, either for speed or for a stall, that’s what is so good about this
deck. I can just use the Oak’s and Cp search’s to get what I need (Don’t we
all). I put all the weight on my 3types of Pokemon. No matter the
circumstances I usually have my opponents weakness. I dislike babbling about
this deck so I present to you Dream Weaver:

Dream Weaver:
4 Fossil Magmar
4 Neo Gligar
4 Jungle Scyther
4 Sprout Tower
4 Professor Oak
4 Cp Search
2 Plus Power
4 Gold Berry
2 Energy Removal
2 Scoop up
3 Super Energy Removal
2 Rocket Sneak Attack
3 Gust of Wind
10 Fire Energy
4 Rainbow Energy
4 DC Energy

Match 1 vs. Mike
Mike is my brother; he plays a decent Wiggly/Meganium deck. I got a
starting hand of 2 RSA, 1 DCE, 1 Gligar, 1 Cp Search, and 1 Oak. He only had
a Jigglypuff so I was looking for the first turn KO. I went first and
searched for a Pluspower. I attached the DCE to Gligar and then Oaked. I
received another Pluspower in my hand and layed it down.
1-0

Match 2 vs. Jake
I noticed a lot of players had the new Neo 2 Scizor card. I think he got
way to much play. However he is good in some strategies he only ads 10 hp to
Scyther and still keeps the weakness to fire. My opponent Jake started with a
Scyther and attached a Metal energy first turn, so it was obvious he was
going to evolve. I had a 2Magmar, 2 fire energies, 1 Rsa, 1Gow, and an Oak.
He went first. On my turn I Smokescreened his Scyther, however evolving ends
the effect of the Smokescreen. Next turn he evolved his Scyther and he
Falseswiped me. I took a chance and attached the second energy to Magmar and
used Smog. He became poisoned. He Falseswiped again and was KO’d.
2-0

Match 3 vs. Jiggles
This kid is very peculiar. He played with his deck in top loaders. I
complained to the judges but they had no objection. This was ridiculous
because he couldn’t shuffle his deck. I knew I could win anyway. I won the
coin toss and started with a gligar. Jiggles had an Aipom. In my opinion the
worst card in the Neo Genesis set. I attached a DC to gligar and Cp Searched
for a Pluspower. I then Slashed for the win.
3-0

Match 4 vs. Dylan
Dylan was my toughest opponent of the day. He has a great Wiggly/Sneasel
deck. I didn’t shuffle well since the last battle and this gave me a terrible
hand. After he pounded through all four of my Magmar it was over. I never
drew any Oaks or Cp Searches to help me find what I needed. I made sure I
shuffled for the next match.
3-1

Match 5 vs. Duff
This guy is a new comer to the league and contests. I wasn’t suppose to
play him but do to bad ruling I had to. Our match lasted about a half our and
it was a grueling one. I defeated his Scizors, Enteis, and Skamory with ease.
This match ended in a win for me and a spot in the final match.
4-1

Match 6 vs. Dylan
I made sure I shuffled this time and drew a pretty good hand. He began
with a Sneasel and a Jiggly on the bench. I had a Gligar and a Magmar on my
bench. He can predict coin tosses without even thinking about it. Of course
he went first and attached a Dark energy to his Sneasel. His Fury Swipes only
worked once, which kept Gligar alive. I attached a DCE to Gligar and Slashed
with a Pluspower. Dylan had a Gold Berry on his Sneasel so I didn’t want to
use both that I had in my hand. If I waited for next turn the Gold Berry
would have been useless. He Fury Swiped me again and I received no damage. I
then Rsa’d to get rid of a Scoop Up he was awaiting to play. I Slashed again
with the Pluspower to defeat his Sneasel. Since the second turn he had a
Wiggly on his bench. It was powered and ready to go however his bench was
empty and I had a sprout tower out. He couldn’t do anything. He tried to put
me to sleep but I just flipped heads at the beginning of my turn.  Two turns
later I was proclaimed the winner.
5-1

I received a 1st edition Rocket box for my win. I had also bought a 1st
edition Neo Discovery box before the contest. As you can imagine I had a lot
of packs to open. I received every card in the Neo Discovery set except for 6
rares. I am planning on building a Dark Crobat/ Light Dragonite from the
recent Neo 4 packs I picked up. So look for this deck and more in my future
writings.

Props to Chris and Ryan at NDC.
Slops to Duff for cheating my brother out of a win.
