I wish all the people at the Game Trader would join the tournies every
week, instead of just watching, it'd be a lot more fun :(  but oh well. I am
an older player (25) but I still think Pokemon is the best ccg so I won't
quit playing, im still addicted to making new decks at home and taking them
to tournies to try em out! I thought this week I would go easy on the yungins
and make a "fun" deck. Little did I know it would still win the tourney! This
is my first time writing a deck report ever, but I just wanted to show people
that you can win tournies with "fun" decks and a little luck!

Now onto the Matches! Details are a little fuzzy because I should have wrote
this soon as I got home instead of almost 2 days later but oh well:/

Round 1 vs ? (sorry dude!)

All I remember from round one was a Loaded up Chansey after a good lass
exploded on his first two basics and it was game 1-0

Round 2 vs Big Bro from Buffalo (15 year old)(once again, I sux with peoples
names)

He was running a strong haymaker variation and got the upper hand on me early
by flipping heads against a couple of babies (and me flipping tails with
focus bands), so I tried to win by catching up on prizes after I got a
Chansey up and running but to no avail. He won by a prize, but if there
wasn't a time limit, I knew I could make him deck out. But he played good and
got a deserved victory!  1-1

Round 3 vs Matt M

He told me that even if he won, he wouldn't be able to play in the finals
because of a baseball game he had that afternoon. So I convinced him to let
me get the victory (for a pack of magic cards) and he agreed. After that we
started to play. He said he was going to tear through my babies with his
Umbreon (I think that's the one) that can hit any pokemon for 30. Only thing
was, I wouldn't let him get it loaded, in fact I don't even think it hit the
board the whole game! After about 8 or so turns he said "Maaa-Taaaa!"
(Chinese or something meaning "I give up") Babies rule! 2-1

Round 4 vs Lil Bro from Buffalo (age 12)

Once again, the details are fuzzed up but I won this game fairly quickly. 3-1

So once again I make the final 4. when I made it to the finals, my mindset
changed from being offensive to being defensive and trying to deck my
opponents since there is no time limit in the finals.

Semifinals vs ?

I just don't remember anything about this match at all, but I did win! 4-1

Championship vs Seena!

Seena must have remembered back a couple weeks when we both were in the
finals with Slowking decks. His had Sneasel, I had Clefable. I beat him twice
in that tourney. So he shows up this week (after beating me last week in the
finals) with a Scyther and Clefable deck. This was my toughest match all
day.On turn one he sent up a Cleffa with no bench. I had a magby and an
elekid (I think). I got to go first. I knew from the beginning I wanted to
deck him to win because he likes to go through his deck fairly quickly, but I
realised I could win this game on turn one (I got to go 1st) by getting a
Tyrogue and getting two lucky flips. I decided to go for the kill by
searching for Tyrogue instead of trying to set up with a Chansey or Cleffa. I
get Tyrogue, attach an energy and go for the kill. Everyone around is yelling
"Come on Heads! Kill him!" and I roll... tails. Oh well, the game goes on.
He quickly realized that his Clefable was practically useless against my
babies and Chansey, So he loaded up his Scythers full of recycle energy and
started trying to slash his way through my babies. I had plenty of energy
removal, but it was useless against recycle energy. I was worried that maybe
I couldn't deck him because when it was time for me to use my Imposter Oak,
he still had a huge hand, and a cleffa on the bench I couldn't manage to
knock out, so I never used the fake oak on him. He only had two more prizes
to get with a hand of like 10 cards and a cleffa. I kept my Chansey out there
scrunching away and somehow managed to survive and deck him out! It was a
very fun match! 5-1 and regained my title for the week!

Props:
Game Trader for putting up with the little whiny brats that sneak in
sometimes.
Matt Mashek for not stealing a deck I left there a couple of weeks ago.
Whoever gave me that Brock's Ninetails for a Steelix (You will witness the
power of Brocks Ninetails soon!)
Seena for always giving me a good challenge in the finals practically every
week
(You know I shoulda Slopped your @$$, since you in a sore loser fashion gave
me slops a couple weeks ago,but I ain't that kinda guy!)

Slops go to Tom Dolezal (sp?) for being the best player in Ohio til I showed
up and started beating you often enough for you not to show up anymore! Git
your butt back here!

Thanks for reading even though my report for the most part sucked big time
due to a lack of memory cells in my head! peace.
