This was a newly opened store so there were many beginners, (in my opinion, sorry!) This was a very regular tournament that I go to twice a month just at another store. I had two sad losses, (due to bad hands,) but the rest of the tournament was in mainly my favor. Without furthermore ado, here is my deck. (And I am not a girl like my name reflects,
S-A-M is not a girly name. It's just the name of this deck that’s sissy.)

Silly Sissy Slaps:

Pokemon: (16)

2 Sqirtle (Base)
1 Sqirtle (TR)
1 Wartortle (Base)
3 Blastoise (Base)
3 Misty's Poliwag (Heroes)
2 Misty's Poliwhirl (Heroes)
1 Omanyte (Fossil)
1 Omanyte (NDis.)
2 Omastar (NDis.)

Trainers: (30)

3 Bill
2 Professor Oak
1 Professor Elm
1 Computer Search
1 Arcade Game
1 Misty's Tears
3 Energy Flow
2 Pokemon Center
2 Gust of Wind
2 Mysterious Fossil
1 Super Energy Removal
2 Super Energy Retrieval
1 Energy Retrieval
1 Itemfinder
1 PlusPower
1 Cerulean City Gym
1 Switch
1 Trash Exchange
2 Pokemon Breeder
1 Pokemon Trader

Energy: (14)

14 Water Energy

Well the incredibly low energy amount is necessary to run the trainers for this deck to function properly under the condition of two stage two lines. The single trainers has a reason. All the cards are needed singly to make space. I had a Misty in place of the PlusPower in this deck, and before the Misty, an Itemfinder. I figure that the Misty would help with the damage doing, prize drawing thing. Then I thought that the resources would be discarded to Misty, NOT WORTH IT!!!! I ever took out 7 Water Energies and the 3 Articuno (Fossil) to increase speed and game advantage with those single trainers. The worst card in this deck is Arcade Game! This is a pretty good card to use. Unlike my friend Andrew, the worst arcade runner possible, has the odds of 1-10000000 of getting lucky on the arcade running beeswax. My odds are 4-1.  (I’ve actually spent hours figuring this out!!)  Anyways, my email is at the foot of this page if you have any serious questions. (Tournament was timed. 30 min.)

** NOTE: I am sorry for all mistakened words/phrases over tournament events. **

Match 1:  vs K.J.
He plays a Elekid/Electabuzz/R. Zapdos Deck. It has only 9 pokemon in this deck and 51 energies. Questionable????

Round 1:
He was lucky to even have a basic. I won the toss and faced off a R. Zapdos (the only one K.J. has in his deck,) with a Misty’s Poliwag and paralyzed him. He attached, ending his turn. I bred a benched Squirtle into Blastoise, use Misty’s Tears, Oaked. I Energy Flowed the energy from Blastoise to Misty’s Poliwag, evolved, and attached another 4 energies to Poliwhirl. I managed to get 11 out of 14 energies to Poliwhirl (Misty’s) and got 9 out of 11 heads to win.

Round 2:
I started with 2 Mysterious Fossil. I won the toss again and went first. I drew, the passed. He Koed the first Myster. Fsl. while I bred the second one on turn 2 and Squezed the hec out of Elekid and won.

Match 2: vs Caleb
He played a Brock’s Ninetails deck with Blaine’s Arcanine.

Round 1:
This was one of the two poor losses due to bad hands. I started  with the traditional lone Misty’s Poliwag and 6 Waters. I lost on turn 2 due to the arrival of  Blaine’s Arcanine and PlusPower.

Round 2:
I started with Misty’s Poliwag and Squirtle, while he started with a Blaine’s Moltres on bench and active Rocket’s Moltres. All I could do was stall and try to bring out Poliwhirl of Misty’s. Next turn, I drew a gift. Professor Oak. I Oaked gaining the advantage of Poliwhirl and placed a Mysterious Fossil to the bench. I flipped both heads on Tail Rap deciding not to evolve. Then he was powed up for 1 more turn to victory over Poliwag. I evolved into Omanyte (w/ Clairvoyance) and saw a PlusPower I used SER to remove both fires from R. Moltres, Gusted out Blaine’s Moltres, and evolve into Misty’s Poliwhirl and got all heads on Water Punch. He attached the passed. He lost after I Water Punched both Moltres to death.

Round 3: I had to win this to have a chance.
This time, he got the good Blaine’s Arcanine into play on turn 2. I still stalled with Poliwag (Misty’s) and got Blastoise on turn 3 (through Wartortle) and killed Blaine’s Arcanine. Then I KOed the weak basics one at a time to decide this match.

SEMIFINALS: Yay! I made it so far! I must perform hard to win the grand prize of a 30 dollar shopping spree!

Match 3: vs John
He played one of those “hate”maker decks (because you win too often and people hate you,) that featured Sneasel and Wiggly.

Round 1:
Ok, I bozoed in the beginning forgetting to KO a Sneasel, and let Sneasel kill Blastoise but I recovered somehow I started with a Squirtle and a Mysterious Fossil. I got Blastoise and Omastar on turn 2 but I forgot the Pokemon Power. I attached to Omastar and passed. Then I found out that I had 2 waters, Misty’s Tears and an Oak. Then Sneasel KOed the Blastoise w/ 2 Darkness Energies attached. I then had shock, stroke, and went into coma for about 2 seconds and managed to paralyze the Sneasel with Gold Berry attached by Squeeze. Then I attached PlusPower and used Spike Barrage to KO. He forgot to power up his bench, confident that Sneasel would last long enough for the win. I KOed a couple of other Jigglypuffs and a Murkrow. I had a last prize. He got Wiggly in play in the extremely late game and won the late-game advantage. I got a Blastoise out finally and had a Misty’s Poliwhirl with 10 energies attached. I was that pathetic 10 damage from the win and he KOed Poliwhirl. Then I drew SERetrieval and
Round 2:
I got Omanyte (Neo Discovery) and Knocked Out Jigglypuff on turn 2.

Things were heating up now and I learned that my friend was the next person in the challenge. I knew that she had a grass Nidoking deck with also Erika’s Weepinbel and Pinsir. She ran no Scyther so I could cripple her with Energy Removal and Blastoise so that’s what I did.

Match 4: vs Clair
Ya, I described the deck already so what the fuss to do it again?

Round 1:
I started with the Squirtle and she with Erika’s Bellsprout. She won the toss and used careless tackle. I followed up Paralyzing that freak of nature but she played that nasty trick, Sleep Poison. Then I drew the gift from above. Computer Search. I CPUed for Breeder and got out Blastoise and with the help of PlusPower won the game.

Round 2:
This time she gave up. A lone Nidoran Male lost to Blastoise.

*** FINALS *** FINALS *** FINALS ***

Ok, I mad it into the finals and there was a 30 buck spree at risk so I played hard unlike my opponent. He used a weird Rocket’s Moltres deck. I figure that it has to be a good deck I order to survive this far. I planned the hit and run thing. Hit your opponent, retrerat next turn, waste opponent Gust of Winds. So that’s what I did as my instincts were.

Final Match for the Championship: vs Hubbert

Round 1:
My Squirtle lost on turn 3 to a loaded R Moltres.

Round 2: All right. I can’t lose another round or this is my turn on the barbecue grill.
He lost simply to a Blastoise on turn 3.

Round 3:
He was caught putting a CPU in his hand from the discard pile.

Well this wasn’t the most interesting finals in history. Three quick, less-than-a-minute game won the tourney for me. I got 7 Neo discovery Booster Packs and pulled 2 holo Wobuffet, 1 non-holo Poliwrath, 1 non-holo Politoed, 1 non-holo Butterfree, 1 non-holo Houndour, 2 non-holo Umbreon, and 1 holographic Yanma. And I got 2 separate CPU’s and left the shopping center in glory.
