I basically made this deck knowing that lots of evolutions would be
played plus I only playtested this deck once and lost with it.  I really
couldnt think of any other ideas so this is the deck that I played with.

    Aerodactyl Haymaker:

     Pokémon (20)
3 Electabuzz
3 Rocket's Zapdos
3 Hitmonchan
3 Scyther
3 Aerodactyl
3 Ditto
2 Chansey

    Trainers (15)
3 Mysterious Fossil
2 Misty's Wrath
3 Professor Oak
3 Computer Search
3 Gust of Wind
1 Item Finder

    Energy(25)
9 Fighting Energy
13 Lightning Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy

Some of my matches are kinda hard to remember and most of my match
reports will be pretty short and to the point.  ( Sorry if I cant remember
some peoples names.)  Here is the report...

              Round 1

The person that I played was using mainly fire in his deck and i remember
seeing
Blaines charmander (The one with the energy removal attack) and also regular
charmander, moltres, etc.  The match was pretty quick and i one by ko'ing all
his pokes.          1-0

            Round 2

I cant seem to remember who I had played this round but I do know that I
won making it 2-0 for me.

             Round 3

The next round I played was against a person playing a wigglytuff deck
with like promo mewtwos and electabuzz's and other basic hay pokemon.  The
only trouble I really had here was when he played chaos gym but even then I
managed to get around it.  So I ended up winning by using chansey to double
edge twice, that I remember.   3-0

            Round 4

I also dont remember who I played this round but again I remember that I
had won this match.   4-0

            Round 5

Alright this round I thought would be tough because I played a player
that I know well and I know he is really good.  (Jim Hurley)  And I actually
remember this match well, unlike most of my others.  I'm gonna be brief and
spare Jim the agony that he dealt with during this match.  Basically the
whole match was my rocket's zapdos against his hitmonchans.  It really stunk
for both of us because or draws were crappy
but basically i had the advantage with the zapdos.  I ended up winning this
match.   5-0.

            Round 6

From what I can remember I think that this kid was playing a haymaker
with like magmars and buzzes and even the ever annoying Erika's dratini.
Well this game was neck and neck the whole time and eventually time was
called and we were both left with three prizes.  Man I hate ties but it was
better than the loss.   5-0-1

Round 7 (vs. Heidi Craig, 2nd place runner up)

I guess most of you have seen her deck and know what she played so I dont
have to say anything about that.  The best thing for me this match was my
aerodactyl.  Once I evolved the fossil to aerodactyl, she could not evolve
into clefable so her only chance to evolve it was to gust it in, and slash
with scyther.  She could not do this so her clefairy's became bait for my
hitmonchans.  Besides that the game was back and forth but eventually I won
with the last two prizes taken by double edge.    6-0-1

Round 8 (vs. Tom Hanley 1st place winner)

This match led to a quick loss for me.  My opening hand was terrible with
like 6 energy and a rocket zapdos and his basic was also a rockets zapdos.
He went first and like computer searched or oaked or did something to discard
energies (I cant remember) and started powering up zapdos.  I go and get a
terrible gust of wind which did nothing at all considering he only had out
rockets zapdos.  Eventually two turns later I lose because I draw some more
bait (scyther) which gets electroburned anyway and I am left with no basics.
 6-1-1

I make it to the quarter finals and play this guy named Peter Keller who
is from Denmark.

            Round 9 (Quarter Finals)

In this round I also get off to a bad start I dont quite remember
everything but I know I got like no card drawing til later in the game and
hold in there with just the draws that I get.  Meanwhile he gets EVERYTHING
he needs.  He ended up using super energy removal four times because of his
itemfinder and even a lone removal against me.  The match reall stunk for me.
So I end up there in the top 8 which was better than what I expected to do.

*** Thanks to Wizards for holding this neat event and thanks
to pojo for being such a good site.
