Whew, I just came home from a tournament at my DCI leagues. I came in 1st place and there were about 16 people there most kids were 10-11 I was the oldest. (I'm 13) I should start things off by Giving my deck.
 

Pokémon:

4 squirtle

4 blastoise

2 Lapras (articuno is just to hard to power-up)

1 lickitung (Cheap staller and Mr. Mime waster)

1 ditto (clears up Mewtwo and psy types)

1 promo TCG meowth (bench damage and mime smasher)

Trainers:

2 super potion

2 Mr. Fuji

2 goop gas attack (Who's afraid of the big bad mime now!)

2 switch

4 computer search

2 Bill

2 Gust of wind (GOW)

4 Pokémon breeder

3 Professor oaks

Strategy:

The idea of this deck is to get out a blastoise on turn 2 and blast the opponent's pokémon faster then they can hit back. If you can't evolve because of pokémon powers etc. you ride it out with Lapras and ditto. The Mr. Mime decks are not a problem because of th goop gas attack in the new Rocket expansion.

Me vs. Rebecca
 

I drew a starting hand of Lapras, blastoise, squirtle, CPU search and a prof. oak.

I won by destroying her benched pikachu, and voltorb with blastoise until another pikachu KO'd him. I hit the lone rat with a lapras and won.

Round 2 

Me vs, Chris
 

This little kid was busted by my brother for having a 66 card deck. He was playing a crappy raindance with 4 Gyarados and 1 blastoise. I started with a lickitung and ditto. I sent out ditto and put a squirtle on the bench. he put out an articuno and I evolved to blastoise with a breeder. I used raindance to power ditto up and faint it. I then did the same to his Gyarados. he put out a magicarp and tackled me. I retreated and hit it with a blastoise.

Me vs. little kid
 

This was to easy. I wiped out his rattatas and other unevolved pokémon with a blastoise.

Round 4

Me vs. Allan
 

He was one of the better players, but only because he had all the best cards in his deck. I triumphed with my blastoise and lapras easily.

Final battle

Me vs. Michael
 

I used my ditto on his squirtles because I couldn't get a blastoise out until a few turns later. he had a squirtle and I had a blastoise left. enough said.
