10 grass energy

Friday night, when I heard about the new Team Rocket cards, I bought a
magazine that listed the whole Rocket set. I saw a card called Nightly
Garbage Run and looked at its power. That's when this idea hit me. over and
over, you could pull out some of the best pokemon there were with this simple
card and with Venusaur's energy trans, life was made easy with energy. So
this is my story about me and a DCI sanctioned tournament. About 25 people
participated in this one.
    Round 1: Half-maker deck
This kid tried to make a good haymaker deck, but came about 5 pokemon short.
This was a pretty easy win since my first hand was 3 water energy, 1 grass
energy, a bulbasaur, a squirtle, and a computer search. I used the computer
search, discarded the grass energy and the bulbasaur and pulled out wartortle
just in case I wasn't lucky in getting another computer search. His benched
pokemon was only a measly machop. his active pokemon was a hitmonchan, but he
was short on energy. I became lucky enough just to draw a Blastoise, and
Blastoise ended up winning because he didn't have enough benched pokemon.
    Round 2: Charizard/Arcanine deck
Ok, this one wasn't so bad but because of the weakness of Charizard and the
weakness of Venusaur, I decided to stick with Squirtle and evolution. My
first hand wasn't so lucky, I had to draw another seven cards and put away a
blastoise and 3 perfectly good water energy, as well as a Nightly Garbage
Run. But, I was really lucky this time. I drew 2 squirtle, a Venusaur, A
Blastoise, a pokemon breeder, and 2 water energy. I benched squirtle, laid
the other squirtle on the active spot, and didn't get heads this time. he
flipped over a charmander, and once again, came short of energy. I used
Blastoise's Rain Dance to get energy, and pretty much wiped out all of his
pokemon except for the last one which I K0'ed with a squirtle.
Round 3: Psychic deck (all I saw was an Abra)
This one was really easy. I pulled out a Bulbasaur and an Ivysaur on my first
turn. I went first and he had an active Abra. No energy's or anything. I put
2 leaf energy (Not on that same turn) on my Bulbasaur and used leech seed.
The next turn, he had an energy and he put it on his Abra. Next turn I used
leech seed again and he was dead. He had no benched pokemon, so he suffered
the first ones defeat.
    Round 4:Haymaker deck(complete with everything)
This time I really screwed this guy up. I had Venusaur built up, and a
Blastoise-in-waiting(not to be married, to be used in battle). He killed my
Venusaur with a Scyther using swords dance the first time. I pulled out
blastoise and used Rocket Punch. From then on, pokemon went fainting left and
right. His last attempt: a ponyta. That was fun using overkill. Final
Score:4-0 I win 30.00 in store credit and spend it on rocket packs. I didn't
get much, although I did get a Rainbow energy.

Props and slops
Props to my awesome deck and yet, I never used those Nightly garbage runs
