It's a revised version of the "Raindannce" deck with additions of the new
rocket cards.  Bringing it to league should work the kinks out of it. Here's
the deck.

Dark Rain

Pokemon (20) Trainers (18)
Energy (22)
2 Blastoise (Basic) 3 Professor Oak
Water
2 Dark Blastoise (Rocket) 3 Bill
1 Wartortle (Basic) 3 Nightly Garbage Run
1 Dark Wartortle (Rocket) 2 Gust of Wind
2 Squirtle (Basic) 2 Challenge
2 Squirtle (Rocket) 1 Mr. Fuji
2 Articuno 2 Super Energy Removals
2 Dratini (Rocket) 2 Energy Removals
2 Dark Dragonair (Rocket)
2 Seel
2 Dewgong

I figured that most of these games would be quick being that I have a chance
to deck my self quickly (that's why I threw in a Mr. Fuji to prolong that
possibility).  There are no breeders in this deck due to the introduction of
Dark Vileplume but Dark Dragonair is makes up for it.

Match 1 vs. Joe (Raindance)
This was a test to see who could get Blastoise out first.  I won the toss.
My Articuno vs. Lapras.  Used a Challenge card and he accepted. Filled both
benches. Energy to Articuno, end turn.  2nd turn, drew energy, attached to
Articuno, evolved Dratini to Dark Dragoniar, Evolutionary light for
Wartortle, evolved Squirtle. 3rd turn, evolved Wartortle, danced 2 energies
to Articuno and 2 to Blastoise. Oak'd, Evolutionary light for Dewgong &
attached 3 energies.  After 2 turns with Articuno's Blizzzard and successful
flips, he was in bad shape. He never got the chance to get his Blastoise
out.
1-0

Match 2 vs. Mark (Mono-Fire)
This was ugly for him.  Could not understand why he wanted to play me after
watching my other match and knowing his deck was weak to water.  Needless to
say, this match ended quickly due to his weakness and lack of a bench.
2-0

Match 3 vs. John (Psy/Electric)
This could be trouble.  Had to get rid of Buzz quickly.  With a few lucky
coin flips, I was able to stall with Squirtle's "Bubble Beam" and get
Blastoise out on the 4th turn.  Once I got Dark Dragonair and used his
"Evolutionary Light", I had a full bench ready to attack.  Took a while to
take him out because he had a few ER's and SER's, but being able to Oak and
"Raindance" this saved me.
3-0

Match 4 vs. Jenny (My girlfriend with a Haymaker deck)
This was a problem.  It seemed like a lose-lose situation (some of you may
know how this feels).  I have to admit, I lucked out on this one.  She had
problems drawing a basic pokemon so this puts the blame on her not being
lucky.  It starts with my Squirtle vs. her Scyther.  I won the toss. It took
a while but I finally got her with a little help from an ER, Oak and a quick
round 4 evolution of Seel to Dewgong.
4-0

Last Match vs. Don (Mono Grass)
Here's a real test.  A deck that uses the combo of Snorlax/Dark Gloom/Dark
Vileplume. He made it a little harder by adding Chansey.  He built it as
some type of status/stall deck.  All I know is that I had to prevent him
from getting out his Dark Vileplume and Dark Gloom.  I had to somehow manage
to survive their pokemon powers while trying to beat up on Snorlax and
Chansey.  But having Dark Dragonair's "Evolutionary Light" made it possible
for me to evolve Squirtle to Blastoise, Seel to Dewgong while he was
confusing and poisoning Articuno.  I was lucky enough that I was able to use
some trainer cards before he got Dark Vileplume out which prevented either
one of us from using trainer cards.  Boy did this match drag out, from all
the poisoning and confusion I had to deal with. Needless to say, I was
really close to decking and knocking myself out before I was able to collect
my last prize.
5-0

Well league is over, there's a few thing that I would like to change in the
deck to may make it flow better but overall I think that it's possible
tourney material.   Can't wait to give it a shot in future events and see
how it holds up with other decks.

Props and Slops
Props to Pojo for putting out an awesome magazine and website.
Props to C&C for keeping the league going (not too many hold league or
tournaments in Sacramento).
Props to the all parents that come, support their kids and play.
Slops to those who cheat.
Slops to those that whine.

Thanks all !!!!
