Well, it has  been a long time since my last report which was Damage
Swap 2000 for those of you who care, anyways it was also my first time to
play something other than Sponge here for about 5 weeks. The Team Rocket set
just came out here pretty much and I wanted to play with the deck I made
over apprentice. I personally beleive this deck could be pretty good if I
keep working on it,and get used to playing it. This is also my chance to
play something that involves alot of thinking.. no offense to you Sponge
players out there, but the deck is pretty easy to play and is very good. I
should have wrote this report 2 days ago, but I wasnt sure if I should write
it in .. but here goes.. Enjoy!

Smelly Pollen v. 101

Pokemon:
4 Snorlax
2 Scyther
2 Rocket Oddish
2 Jungle Oddish
3 Dark Gloom
2 Rocket Drowzee
Trainers:
3 Bill
3 Professor Oak
3 Computer Search
3 Item Finders
3 Scoop Up
3 Nightly Garbage Run
3 Gust of Wind
3 Super Energy Removal
3 Lass
2 Team Rocket's Sneak attack
Energy:
9 Grass Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy
3 Fullheal Energy

This is my status effect combo deck from the Team Rocket deck. I use
my Scyther's versatality, Oddish's status effects to stall/get more Oddish's
out, and also my big Snorlax's to stall to get my setup up. My setup is
Snorlax powered up active Dark Glooms and Rocket Drowzee's on bench. When I
have this setup I use Dark Gloom's Pokemon power to confuse my opponent
without having to worry about confusing mine because of Snorlax's Pokemon
Power Thick Skinned. If that is to fail, I use Drowzee's pokemon power put
the opponents pokemon to sleep without having to worry about mine getting
put to sleep cause of Snorlax's pokemon power. Then, I use body slam to do
30 damage and maybe paralyze them.

This Tournament was best 2 out of 3 with about 3 rounds of swiss and
then best records goto finals which goes to top 4 then the winners get cut
and goes to top 2..

Round 1 Me vs Tassi with Wildfire deck

The first game I sacrifice a Scyther early game to a Lickitung while I
get Snorlax powered and Dark Gloom out. I bring up Snorlax and now she
cannot paralze me.. Then I confuse her and this goes on for a long time I
steadily beat on Lickitungs and Chanseys but she manages to pokecenter or
scoop most of the time. She brings out Moltres and wildfires me a couple of
times but this doesnt hurt me decking her much because I have Nightly
Garbage Run and she does not.. I killed the moltres and she goes back to
stalling for awhile while powering another moltres on the bench. She gets
the moltres powered enough to burn about half my deck while I was beating on
a Lickitung, but before killing the lickitung I gust out the moltres and
manage to kill it before it can wildfire. After that, I just stalled her.
The second game I got the same setup out and this time managed to kill
her pokemon with snorlax.

Round 2 vs Marcos with Viagra(Modified)
The first game he got a early hitmonchan out on my Snorlax and
I could not get a scyther out fast enough and he beat through Snorlax's
Oddish's and stuff and manages to beat me pretty badly. Second game I get a
Scyther out early and Power a Snorlax and get my Dark Gloom out and beat him
down with my Snorlax, while confusing his pokemon. The Third game I get
setup again with Snorlax and Dark Gloom but he comes out with Wiggly and
knocks out my Dark Glooms and sets up to kill Snorlax with hitmonchan and
manages to pull it off for the game.

Round 3 vs Josh T with venusaur/chansey deck.
He manages to get Venusaur out on me before I could even get a
Snorlax out and beat me down pretty badly.. Second Game he comes out with
the same thing but I got a Snorlax with no Dark Glooms..Oh well you win some
and you lose some right?

My Overall record was 3-4 which was not enough to cut it into top 4 this
week... I was pretty close to making the top 4 like next best record or one
after or something to that extent.. I did get some experience out of this
tournament and I found out what I need to do to make this deck better.

Thank you for reading my report!

By the way.. I do not wish to take credit for making this deck even though I
though this up without any influence on apprentice a long while back but.. I
feel that everyone has made all the Team Rocket decks that are out by now
somewhere and it is just stupid to argue about who made the deck first.
