see...OK, well writing this report at 11:00 PM means I forgot the turn-by-turn
commentary but here's May 6th's Poke league matches!
MATCH 1 VS... John Phelps
DECK:FIRE-GRASS
I know this guy from down the street and
this was the most boring match I ever played. (same for him...) we each
get a great starting hand. I start w/ Mr. Mime he starts with...Snorlax.
we go turn by turn... never attacking,
never retreating at all and he's got a scyther and Rocket gym moltres on his
bench pumped up while I have a
D. Charmeleon pumped up on bench! Finally
breaking the monotony his dad comes WAY early and takes him home... No prizes
drawn...tie

MATCH 2 VS... Ian Rosales DECK:
PURE PSYCHIC (note: this match was played w/ 4 prizes)
Never fought this guy... he starts with a
rocket slowpoke, I start with Rocket Dratini he wins the flip and and has
got abra on bench. I annoyingly keep paralyzing w/ dratini he gets abra to D.
kadabra to D. alakzam very quickly
he kills dratini with mindshock and goes
on to kill a charmander and D. rapidash! I then get seriously back w/
mewtwo.
I KO D. alakazam and he KOs mewtwo
w/ jynx. Seeing how his slowpoke's dead, he's benchless. I break out a little
growlithe and get to aracanine quickly. Flamethrower, I make the biggest
comeback I've ever successfully did

MATCH 3 VS... ??? DECK: POPURRI
OK HE wins the flip and gets to a D.
charmeleon really fast I get Alakazam a few turns later. I keep Alakazam on my
bench for a while and use D. Flareon. He took ten from eevee and now he
takes 40 from a Plus powered rage. Then I get in trouble... he destroys
me with golduck. Desperate I use Alakazm. I confuse it and later kill it. I
get GOWd to a Rocket charmander w/ 1 Fire energy on it he bites for 20.
I potion and flame tail. He bites again I flame tail for the win.
W 2-L 0 (Tie 1)
MATCH 4 VS... ??? DECK:
FIGHTING-GRASS
he had rock pokes so I couldn't take
weakness advantage and I saw 1 or 2 grass pokes in the fight
well I won the flip and he starts with a
geodude and a caterpie on bench I start with eevee and Charmander on bench.
This turns into a exchanging blows kinda fight. I Wag then he R slides and
fails. eventually he gets butterfree and graveler he goes spring cleaning and
KOs everything. I lost
