Hey Pojo and anyone else who is reading this.  My deck's main
strategy is using pokemon that have the ability or evolve into a bench
attacking pokemon.  Also, pokemon in this deck have low retreat costs.
The battles I played were held at Books A Million in Charlotte, NC on
Saturday, June 23.  Well, here is my Bench Blast deck.

Bench Blast:

4x Fossil Gastly (First turn attack, 50% of paralysis, and no retreat
cost)
3x Fossil Haunter (Transparency allows him to have a 50% chance of even
being touched, plus no retreat cost)
2x Genger (Dark Mind is a Bench blasting attack)
2x Drowzee (To be evolved to Hypno)
1x Hypno (Dark mind is Bench blasting attack and profecy can get him
those needed psy enrgies)
2x Jungle Pikachu (Bench Blaster)
1x Fossil Raichu (Energy expensive, but a bench blaster)
1x Scyther (0 retreat, and slash is colorless)
1x Electabuzz (Odds are your thinking he doesn't belong, but he is good)

3x Dratini (Low retreat and is good)
2x Rocket Dragonair (Evolutionary Light)
13x Psychic Energy
12x Electric Energy
3x Potion
3x Bill
2x Gust of Wind
2x Energy Retrieval
2x Energy Removal
1x Professor Oak

The Battles:  Okay, I only had enough time, to not only get my Thunder
Badge, but the gym leader offered a holo. Mew to the first person to win
two times with confirmation from your opponent.  So without further ado,
here are the battles!

Battle 1: Me VS. Joe (Raindance)
He got out wartortles and a few squirtles, but after charging up
Electabuzz, (He took down a Dratini and a Drowzee with Wartortle, but he
couldn't stop Electabuzz) I took them out before "Big, Bad" Blastiose
could come out and starting fighting.

Battle 2: Me VS. Leila (Damage Swap)
Damage Swap decks are my main weakness.  Sorry Pojo! But I'm new at
Bench Attacking Decks.  She starting with two chanseys and kept scooping
them up and switching until she got Kadabra up and beat my Raichu,
Drowzee, and Haunter.  Fortunatly, I got another Haunter up and nearly
beat Kadabra, but she evolved to Alakazam and Damage Swaped to her
Chansey.  Then she beat me.

Battle 3: Me VS. Malon (Sponge)
I sent out my Gastly and Dratini army against Promo Mewtwo.  I evolved
to Dragonair and searched for Gengar and Haunter.  Ends I got Gengar
charged up and beat his Mewtwos, but he lost to Mew after being
de-evolved.  But even after de-evolving Dragonair, Dratini still beat
him.

Props: Getting my Thunder Badge
Props: The gym leader giving me the extra Holo Mew.
Slops: To me, for not making my deck resistant to Damage Swap decks
Slops: For almost not getting me my Holo Mew
