Now here's the skinny! The
tournoment held showed a whoping 8 people! Not very many I suppose. 3 out of 8
people there had Haymaker and I basicly had a modified Raindance. I won't go
very much into detail.
1st match: me VS. Haymaker
A long and heafty match.
Haymaker is made to destroy Raindance. He pulled out a Hitmonchan and a
Chansey. I however pulled 3 squirtles, two of which were rocket. I built up
one squirtle with evolving to base set wortortle. He KO'd my other two
squirtles now my wortortle was up. My whole hand was water energy. I drew a
blastoise. How much more perfect can you get! I played blastoise and played 5
water energy on him with "Raindance". 60 damage to chan.Special
punch, 40 to me. Hydropump, KO. Chansey is up.He played a fighting on chance.
Hydropump 60 damage. He played another fighting energy on cahnsey and used
scrunch, tails. Hydropump, game.
2nd match: me VS. Psyshock
I pulled 2 rocket squirtle he
pulled an abra. I won the coin toss. Played a double colorless on squirtle, 20
to abra. He played an energy on abra, psyshock 10 to me and i'm paralyzed. My
turn I drew a wortortle. I had no energy. I passed. He evolved to kadabra and
played a psychic energy and recovered. My turn I drew a water energy. I
evolved to Wortortle, played the energy and "Bite", 40 damage to
Kadabra. His turn he used the energy removal he drew and bye bye double
colorless. My turn I drew a double colorless, played it, bite, game.
Luck of the draw I guess(literally)...
3rd final match: me VS. Another Raindance
The kid I played had an almost
identical deck to mine, except he had 4 blastoise instead of 2 and 1 dark. We
both drew a squirtle except mine was Rocket. I went first. I used computer
search and got a double colorless, 20 damage to his base set. His turn he
played a water energy an paralyzed me with bubble. My turn I drew a wortortle.
I played a water energy and evolved, bite, 40 damage, game and championship...
