Greetings, friends! A while ago I decided to take a stand and attempt to
prove two things: One, that a deck can be good without being a Haymaker or
RainDance, and Two, that Fire is an excellent type to play. However, the
results of my endeavor proved to be rather disappointing. The Golden Fox, the
deck I designed around the idea of killing all Haymaker Pokemon (and even
that idiotic Wigglytuff) in one fell blow, died to numerous Haymakers at each
tournament, leaving me crushed, and ready to stoop to the level of the
tactless Wigglytuff Haymaker people who only yearn for that good Professor to
come along and save them each and every game. I did not fall, however,
because I realized that I had accomplished my second goal, to prove that Fire
is good. In all seriousness, I believe that The Golden Fox will beat any deck
that is not Turbo RainDance (unfair advantage there) and does not get crazy
with the Super Energy Removals. The fact that I made my own original deck
that can beat just about anybody caused me to keep The Golden Fox. I am
currently in the process of giving it more options, such as Wildfire
stalling. Without further ado, I give you "The Golden Fox".

Round 1 vs Mary (Fire/Lightning)

I remember this match quite clearly because it was relaxing and fun (for me
but not for Mary:). She started with TR Charmander and Electabuzz, I had
Chansey and Vulpix. Chansey held off Charmander for a bit while I pumped
Vulpix. When the time was right, I Scooped Chansey, evolved to Ninetales, and
Blasted away all of her Pokemon. I love killing those stupid Electabuzzes in
one shot, it's very gratifying.
1-0

Round 2 vs strange boy who talks to Mew figurine (Cheesemaker)

This match is where I learned the extent of my deck's stalling abilities. I
don't remember exactly what happened, but I think he held me down with ER so
I decided I would stall instead of build up the Fox. I was successfully
stalling my way to victory when time was called and I lost because my
opponent had less prizes left.
1-1

Round 3 vs some guy (another Cheesemaker)

This round I decided to stall again for some reason, though it was getting
rather boring by then. He got out Wiggly but I kept Luring for energyless
Pokemon and forcing him to waste energy retreating them for the Wiggly. To
make a long story short, I was doing ok when time was called. He had taken
more prizes and was declared the winner. He probably would have won anyway,
so I wasn't too mad.
1-2

Round 4 vs Jason (surprise! Another Cheesemaker)

This match was fun. He Oaked about 3 or 4 times and didn't get a Wiggly with
a full bench until very late in the game. Here's the funny part: When he
finally did get Wiggly out, I KILLED it. hahahahaha! Sorry. After I killed
it, I began killing his other Pokemon one by one. In the end he played a
Gambler, flipped heads, and drew what was left of his deck. He couldn't win
that turn or increase his deck size, so I won. He was a real poor sport about
it, though.
2-2

Round 5 vs Amelia (my sister with Clefable/Wiggly deck)

She REALLY didn't want to play me, because I had beaten her numerous times
before and she was certain she would lose. Well, she did. I had a Ninetales
pumped by about the 4th or 5th turn, and I took care of all her Pokemon with
it. I felt kinda bad for beating her, but I wanted to get into the Fianls.
3-2

FINALS game 1 vs Nathan (Electric Haymaker)

MAN, was this guy ANNOYING! He seemingly had no end of SERs, and he attacked
my Ninetales with them mercilessly. By this time I was really frickin tired
of stalling so I just stubbornly kept trying to build Ninetales up. In the
end I was decked.

FINALS game 2 vs same

No new tale to tell, SERs and ERs annoyed me throughout the entire game. I
was getting sick of it so I just stopped trying my hardest. I decked again.
The thing that burns me was that he asked me why I was using Ninetales,
implying that I was stupid for not using an archetype. As if I want to help
him make the game more boring by playing a stupid archetype.

Well, that tournament was a living Hell due to all the Haymakers, but at
least I got a booster pack (Jungle 1st Ed., in which I got a non- holo
Jolteon). I will continue to improve my deck and play it in tournaments and I
will make it much more competitve. One step I've already taken in that
direction is adding Moltres, which will greatly increase the effectiveness of
my stalling. Thanks for reading.

No Props or Slops because they're starting to get rather annoying.
