Hello PoJo, just when I got my Mew promo I traded and got my 3rd Blastoise
also at Pokémon League at Books-a-Million on Midlo. Turnpike. The object is
obviously like any other Raindance to get Blastoise out on the 2nd turn, but
a little differently dominate the game with a Gyarados or two. Well, here's
my deck:

Pokémon: (16)
4 Squirtle
3 Blastoise
4 Magikarp
4 Gyarados
1 Lapras (Mr. Mime Killer if you haven't already heard.)

Trainers: (25)
4 Bill
4 Item Finders
4 CPU Search
3 Energy Retrieval (Get back energy and then Raindance)
3 Oak
4 Switch
3 Breeder

Energy: (21)
21 Waters

I immediatly got my Mew as I walked in and traded to get two others then
traded and Alakazam and a Dragonair for a Blastoise (I was desperate). Then I
started playing

Round 1: David with a Colorless/Electric
He opened up with a Magnemite and I opened up with a Magikarp with a
Gyarados in my hand and some other things. I put a Squirtle on my bench
switched and added an energy to Magikarp. He put down a Pidgey on his bench
and put a DCE on it. My turn, I put an energy on Magikarp and evolved him,
the last thing I needed was a gust of wind. His turn he put an electric
energy on Magnemite and Thunderwaved for no paralysis. I put an energy on
Gyarados and did Dragon Rage. I picked up a Computer Search. He put out
Pidgey, put a Magnemite on his bench added an energy to him, and did
whirlwind (or is it gust?) and I had to switch with Squirtle. I computer
searched for an Oak and got a Breeder, a 3 Waters, Blastoise, a Magikarp, and
a switch. I switched, evolved to Blastosie with the Breeder, gave all three
waters to Blastoise and Hydro Pumped and picked up a water. he dropped
another Magnemite on his bench and did Self-Destruct. I thought that was
enough of battling with Blastoise. and switched to bring out a Gyarados and
Dragon Raged for the win.

1-0 (They weren't giving out points today)

After that I did a quick three way and went back to battling.

Round 2 vs. Carlton with a Wiggly Deck:

This game was quick, he opened up with a Hitmonchan, searched for 2 Plus
Powers with two CPU searches, game.

1-1

Round 3 vs, David again

He opened up with a Pidgey and I opened up with Squirtle. He Oaked like
three times and got a DCE on Pidgey and did Whirlwind (or gust). I sent out,
uh, no one. I added an energy to Squirtle and Oaked to get nothing so I oaked
again. Much better a Magikarp a Gyarados a Breeder and a Blastoise and the
rest waters. I danced three onto Magikarp and said go. He then made the
biggest mistake of the game and gusted/whirlwinded Magikarp out. I grinned
evily and evolved to Gyarados and DR'd for the win.

2-1

Round 4 vs. ??? with a Beedrill deck

This guy was good. I had a puny Magikarp and he got a Beedrill out on the
second turn with a Breeder. He had a DCE and a Grass energy and twin-needled.
Got two heads.
2-2

After that I pulled out my poor man haymaker and played the Beedrill deck
again, he ended up decking himself. After that I didn't do much but trade and
things like that.

Time for the Props and Slops

PROPS to Books-a-Million, for handing out the Mews
PROPS to Sean Lowry, for throwing all those commons and uncommons during the
3 v 3, it kept us occupied while waiting
SLOPS to that one jerk that kept on saying "Got it...got it....got it..."
when I was trying to get a fourth Blastoise.
SLOPS to Books-a-Million, for not having a tourny.
