Hey what's up Pojo? It's me, Scott again
with another deck report. I
haven't posted a report since August I think. The tournament was DCI
sanctioned, or whatever you call it, and there were 5 Rounds. There were age
divisions: 10 and under, 11-14, and 15 and above. I brought 2 of my friends
with me. I did ok at the start, but at the end, it got more worse for me. I
used to play a Psychic stall, and it didn't work out for me, so I went to
beatdown decks. Well, I better quit blabbering, here's the deck:

There you have it. Pretty tight, right (Hey, that rhymes!)? Well, onto the
report.
Round 1: VS. John with Psychic Stall (???) deck
He was a pretty good player, but never won a tournament before, he played a
Psychic Stall I think. I mulliganed 2 times with him drawing 3 cards, and 1
on the second. He told me he had a Sabrina's Alakazam in his deck, but I
never got to see it in play. He was pretty fast in playing. When I got my
Rocket's Zapdos out, I beated him like he**. When I had 1 prize left, him, 4
or 5, he had a Misty's Golduck with 40 damage, I only had a one energy
Rocket's Zapdos as the active Pokemon. I searched for a Pluspower in my deck
with computer search, and won because of 30 damage to Golduck and was knocked
out due to 40 damage still on it. The Prize count was Me:0, John: 4

Round 2 :Chris with Raindance
He was really easy to beat. He couldn't bring out Blastoise, thanks to my
RSAs. Nothing really happened, and I killed all his pokemon with mostly
electabuzz, Mewtwo, and rocket's zapdos. At the end, he had two fully powered
Promo articuno, and me, a 30 damaged 'buzz. In the two turns he took, he
flipped heads, and did 20 damage to all me benched pokemon. At the end, with
1 prize for me, 2 for him, I had a fully powered rocket's zapdos, and
electroburned an articuno. Another him with prize count: Me: 0, Chris: 2

Round 3- Gary with Colorless Beatdown deck
This was hard, because I only had movie mewtwo and electabozz out. He had 2
ditto. He transformed to all me pokemon and knocked out all of mine. But when
I had a rocket's zapdos out, and he had a four energy ditto, he electroburned
without doing damage to him cuz he had grass NRG on it. That was a good combe
if you're battling a person with a Rocket's zapdos in his/her deck. I only
got 1 prize, him, all, and lost.

Round 4- Jim with rock deck (Scyther had fun in this battle!!!)
He had cubones, rhyhorns, and rattatas. the pokemon in my starting hand was 2
scythers. after a while, he had a full bench of cubone, rhyhorn, and some
others. Scyther easily swept away his pokemon. Prize count: Me: 0, Jim: 4
Round 5- Cory with Beatdown deck with Hitmonchan, Magmar, and Electabuzz.
I knew he was going to beat me, and he did with Chan, Magmar, and Buzz.
Nothing worked until he SERed me, and discarding 2 cards from his hand. Oh
well, a loss is a loss. Prize count : Me: 4, Cory: 0

Another person from my age group had the same streak as me, and the owner of
the store told us to have a battle on who sould get the prize.
Final Battle: John again.
I knew I was going to win, he only had Sabrina's abra and Misty's psyduck
out. I had electabuzz. In my second turn, i KOed his abra. After the next 2
turns for me, i knocked out the Psyduck.
Prize Count: Me: 4, Him: 6
I get the prize, which was 2 first edition packs, and got a rocket's mewtwo
and brock's protetion. i bought 3 more, and got Koga's beedrill, blaine's
ninetales, and koga's pidgeotto for the rares. Now for props and slops
