This happened at the Gym Heroes prerelease tournament.  It was 5 hours of pokemon fun.  The deck I used is a gengar deck with scythers and chansey to protect against weakness.  Now I'm going to get right to the good stuff.(warning this was 5 hours.  I am not able to post about 20 games on here.  I have forgot some of them.  Plus it is to long to read and write that.)

Before matches:
I got there about 10 minutes early and waited for it to start.  My brother was using a wiggly deck with scythers.  When it started everyone got 2 booster packs of gym leaders.  I got a holo LT. Surges Fearow and a rare non-holo onix, plus many more commons and uncommons. I figured had a good deck to win with.  When people started their first match I had to sit for 15 minutes to wait for people to finish a match because of a odd number of people.  Well here we go with the matches.

Match 1: Touch of Death vs. Mark's mom with haymaker with electabuzz and hitmonchans
I started with a scyther and a gastly.  She started with 2 electabuzz.  We both tried to get pumped as much as possible.  She got her electabuzz pumped and ended up have 10 damage on it and 40 damage on my scyther.  While that was going on my gastly had become a haunter and almost a gengar.  So I did 10 damage and made it asleep with haunter.   She couldn't do anything and ended.  Next turn gengar comes out along with 2 plus powers and I take a prize.  Through the rest of the match it went back and forth until a built up scyther and mewtwo wrecked havoc.
I win.
1-0

Match 2: Touch of Death vs. little kid with a semi-hay including electabuzz
I don't remember much of this match but basically I sent out a gengar and destroyed everything.
2-0

Match 3: Touch of Death vs.  little kid with a  Moltres and Ninetails beatdown.
This started out as a stall battle.  He had a pidgey out with a moltres and team rocket moltres on the bench.  I started out with a mewtwo active and chansey on the bench.  For about 10 turns no one attacked while we built up our bench.  I had a pumped up chansey and some what pumped haunter and chansey with mewtwo active.  I knew that if I didn't act fast he would overpower me with a new ninetails and moltres.  So by the next few truns pidgey had gone bye bye and a gengar was out with pumped up chanseys.  The guy put out a moltres and koed my gengar.  I reacted with a double-edge buy chansey.  Then he put out the ninetails and took the chansey out.  I had one chansey with gastly and a mewtwo on the bench.  I put chansey out and defeated ninetails.  Then I double-edged the team rocket moltres for the win.
3-0

Match 4:Touch of Death vs. some guy who likes WWF wrestling and his fighting dark dragonite deck
I started with a gastly and scyther on the bench.  He started with a hitmo and a mankey plus kangaskan on the bench.  I took out the hitmo with ease.  Then he put a dark drangonair and evolved it.  I had gotten a haunter out waiting to be a gengar.  So I stomped dark drangonite and had 30 damage on a cefairy of his.  Then he put out kanganskan.  I used a chansey and plus power to K.O. the kangaskan that had been sitting on my bench.  Then I brought out my gangar and his cubone that he had and used plus poer to knock that and clefairy out.  Then it went downhill for him and I won.
4-0 (At this point I saw my brother and he was 2-2)

The next few matches went by pretty fast.  I defeated another hay with electabuzz, scyther, and hitmo, and another haymaker.  (I can't remember 5 hours worth of games)
When i became 6-0 things started becoming bad.

Match 7: Touch of Death vs Brandon with his Venucenter.
I had previously beaten him 3 times and my record was 3-0 against him.  But things went bad.  He got a Venusaur out quick while i struggled with energy.  He started hurting my scythers and mewstwos while I built up a chansey.  I doubled-edged and killed myself and energy removaled a couple of his guys.  But I got taken over and lost.
6-1

Match 8:  Touch of Death vs. my neighbor Mandy and her wiggly deck
OK.  I win 9 out of 10 against her but that didn't quite happen this time.  I basically got a slow start with a mewtwo and chansey.  I had almost no energy and no drawing capablities.  I just went downhill and I lost grrrrrr.
6-2 ( My bro played soone after and whopped up on her :) )

Match 9:  Touch of Death vs. a dude with an arcainine deck.
I almost had him in the beginning with a chansey but he energy removaled it.  Then he keep energy removaling everything I put out.  He soon built up a electabuzz and drilled through my sitting pokemon.  Then he sent in promo arcanine for the kill.  Another loss.
6-3

Match 10:  Touch of Death vs. kid with psychic deck
This kid was talking about how bad he was doing so I went over to check it out.  He asked me to play since I had lost the past few so I said okay.  He put out a mr. mime and I put out a chansey and a mewtwo.  He stalled a few turns then I got out gastly.  2 turns later it was over due to weakness from gastly.  He asked me to give him some advice and I did.
7-3 (He eventually won one)

Match 11: Touch of Death vs. Andy with raindance
This guy was on a good streak and I had wanted to play him earlier.  He put out 2 squirt and a articuno to start.  I had a chansey and mewtwo.  He puts a energy down and says go.  I slap dce for a quick kill next turn and do scrunch.  Then he gets a blastoise and a dark blastoise with articuno active and pumps up the dark blastoise.  Then I put a dce on chansey and gust out dark blastoise for the kill.  The next turn I do it again with 2 plus powers to his regular blastoise.  After that he never recovered and just stalled himself to death.
8-3 (He won the whole tournament)

The next matches are mostly repeats with previous people. I don't recall what exactly happened. But I had a record of 11-3. (Something close to that)  I played a lot of matches in 5 hours.

Last match: Touch of Death vs.  Ricki with raindance
This match started off bad for me.  I had out a mewtwo, chansey and a gastly.  He had 2 squirtles and a articuno active.  He energy removaled me the whole way and built up 3 blastoise.  After a few minutes all I had was a haunter active with a gastly.  For the next 7 turns he attacked and I flipped heads with haunter.(Lucky)  Then he made me switch coins and I flipped tails.   But my gastly on the bench became a haunter and stalled some more until time was called.
11-3-1 (Something like that but only 3 loses and 1 draw)

Here are the standings
1st Andy(12 packs of Gym Heroes)
2nd and 3rd tied Ricki and Mark(split ten packs 2nd was 6 and 3rd was 4)
4th Caroline I see at the league often with a sponge deck(mewtwo, scyther, and electabuzz)
5th and 6th tied My brother Austin and some guy(split 4 packs 2 for each place)
7th some guy(2 packs)
8th tied Me and some guy( split 2 packs)

Note: I was the only one in the top slots that did not use a archetype.  Everyone used wiggly speed,
raindance, haymaker(scyther, electabuzz, and hitmo) or a sponge.

Incase you wanted to know what it took to win my brother finished 15-3 and only tied for fifth.  It was tight in the points since I was 11-3-1.  Wins were 2 points, losses were 1 point, draws didn't count.  The way to win seemed to be to play as many people as possible.  Caroline was the only undefeated person and only made 4th.
