This tournament was based on matches, they randomly pick people that you battle, whoever wins 2 out of 3 wins the match.  I uses a Rocket enhanced, Turbo Rain Dance.  There was a Japanese tourney and an American.

Turbo Rain Dance:
18 Pokemon:
Squirtle x4 2 base, 2 TR (duh)
Blastoise x3 (The brains of the operation)
Dark Blastoise x2 (Hays were pretty common)
Lapras x2 (Mime Killer)
Articuno x2 (Pick off at their bench and gust them out for the kill)
Magikarp x3 (Sux but becomes great!)
Gyrados x2 (Holy moly this sea-serpent blows everyone else out of the water!)
20 Trainers:
G.O.W. x4 (Draw 1 prize)
P.P. x2 (Only 2 since D. Blastoise is in there)
Bill x3 (The card says it all)
Oak x3 (It's a Rain Dance, I wonder...)
Pokemon Breeder x4 (See above)
Rocket Sneak Attack x2 (One of the best in rocket IMO)
Goop Gas x2 (Use after rain dance to kill Mimes; they are very common here)

Water energy x22 (Life in its purest form; the blood of the deck, the....)

Match 1 vs. ???? with deck of singles and rares
Round one
He flips and gets heads.  I only have a Magikarp on my side, he has a Rattata.  He attaches an energy, uses a Plus power, and wins.
Round two
I start with a lone Lapras. I flip and get heads. I draw a Pokemon Breeder, attach a water energy to lapras, and do 10 to his Machop.  He draws, attaches a fighting energy, and does 20. Repeats until I die.

Match 2 vs Newbie Olivia with Grass/Colorless deck.
She is the best newbie I have ever played.  I have not had a better game from someone who has played for a week.
I send out a rocket Squirtle, with 2 Magikarps on the bench. She flips, I call tails, and its tails! I draw a...Gyrados!I attaches water energy to magikarp and say go.  she attaches a grass energy to her active Scyther and sowrds dances. I draw a water energy.  I attach it to my magicarp and say go.  She draws a card, attaches a double colorless to Scyther, and kills squirtle.  I promote magicarp, evolve into Gyrados, attach a water energy, and use dragon rage, she attaches a double colorless to her benched scyther and uses Slash for 60.  I draw a card, attach a water energy to Magicarp on the bench, and dragon rage for a prize.  She sends out her Benched scyther, attaches a grass energy, and kills gyrados.  I send out my lone karp, draw a card, flop, and she kills it. She wins.

Round 2.
I draw a godly hand of 1 squirtle, 1 blastoise, 1 breeder, and the rest energy.  I bench squirtle, flip and call heads, it's tails.  She has an active Tauros and 3 benched Tauros. She attaches leaf energy to Tauros and says go.  I attach water energy to squirtle and bubble flipping heads.  she attaches a DCE to tauros and says go. I draw a water energy, attach all five to squirtle, breeder, and clear her table of all the tauros by hydro pumping them.

Tie breaker
Fairly quick. I Shell attack her energyless Pinsir to win the match.  She was a good sport about it.  We shook hands and went to see our standings.

Snack break.
I go down and buy a fossil booster and I get a non-holo Moltres.  We go back to the tournment area and they start handing out little stuffed pokemon toys. I get an Eevee and trade it for a Charmeleon. I make some trades and talk to Jun for a while.  Then they announce the next matches.

Me vs. ????
I can't remember anything about this match, He won 2 in a row though, so I lose the match.

Match Wins: 1 Match Losses: 2
Game wins: 2 Game losses: 5

Me vs. Sore Loser with Rocket Eeevelution deck

Both were quick games, whenever I knocked out one of his pokemon, he yells about how he never wins and goes into a tantrum.  And hes 13!  I knocked out his Eevees before they had a chance to evolve, except a Dark Vaporeon.  His bench was mostly Eevees and TR Meowths(Why???).  When he lost he threw cards everywhere.

Match Wins: 2 Match Losses: 2
Game wins: 4 Game Losses: 5

The top 8 got into the finals.  I was twelth, but I stayed around for the finals, and my friend Jun Kim (he has the Wiggly deck) made it in.  Before the finals, they had 5 door prizes, which were a Japanese pokemon wind-up toy and a Neo 2 booster.  Me and my friend chris got 2 of them!  I got a magicarp toy, chris got a shelder.  He got a Doburu in his booster, and I got the steel clam.  Jun was out of the finals in one of the last matches.  The Japanese tourney winner got $100 Store credit and the Japanese Revolution Lugia Packet and Ancient Mew card, he got the mis-spelled Nintendo, glitter one.  All in all, it was a very well organized tournement. Now for Props and Slops....
