(please don't fix my deck because i'll have probobaly updated it by when
this gets posted.)
This deck is probobaly the first five-color deck i've ever made that
works. It runs mostly on colorless, and is heavily based on a potpourri
i saw a few weeks ago. The pokemon are completely metagame. Electabuzz
kills rain dance, machop kills electabuzz, jiggly, and wiggly, squirtle
kills those fire decks, scyther is an all-purpose fight-resist monster,
and the single ponyta can deal with the occasional energy trans.
It was a 4-prize 10-game swiss-style prizes-for-first-second-and-third
tourney.
Round 1 vs. Kid with Illegal Deck:
During initial setup, i noticed his deck was taller than mine. I called
the judge over. After the judge counted the cards in that kid's deck, he
said i won by default because that kid had 78 cards in his deck.
1-0 (after all that, i gave that kid the rulebook i carry around. I have
a billion more at home, anyway.)
Round 2 vs. Guy with Cleaner Deck:
he started with 2 growlithes and i had a squirtle, a scyther and a buzz.
My squirtle got one growlithe, but his other one evolved. Not good. It
flamethrowered my squirtle. Fast forward a few turns. I threw everything
i had at him to kill his arcanine. My electabuzz was dead, though. So i
searched for another squirtle, and k.oed 2 little vulpixes. I attached a
full heal energy whenever the little squirt got confused.

Round 3 vs. Kid with Final Beam Rain Dance:
He started with 2 squirtles and a magikarp, and i started with a scyther
and 2 machops. I oaked twice for a buzz, and got one. Fast forward a few
turns. I killed his squirtles, but his magikarp had evolved into dark
gyarados, and he got a benched lapras. But, nothing my buzzes (i'd
gotten another one) couldn't take care of. After they killed his
gyarados, he final beamed for a k.o. on my all-ready damaged electabuzz.
I put my healthy buzz against his lapras. I thundershocked. Darn. No
paralysis. He confuse rayed. Darn. Confusion. I searched for a full heal
energy, attached it to buzz, and thunderpunched for the win.
3-0 (he asked me why his 4-3-2 evolution on blastoise didn't work. I
told him to make it 4-0-4 and put in 4 breeders.)
Round 4 vs. Girl with Fang Swap deck:
She started with a chansey and a ratatta. I started with a machop and a
ponyta. Fast forward a few turns. We'd both oaked a lot. She had a 'zam
and a raticate. I had another machop and a scyther. My machop killed her
raticate, but she kept scooping chansey. Fast forward a few more turns.
One of my machops was dead. Our decks were getting low. I figured she
was now trying to stall me. The prizes were tied 3-3. So i gusted 'zam
and threw everything i had at him. Then i gusted another raticate she
had and did 30x2=60 to him via a machop with a DCE and a rainbow energy.
I then gusted her third raticate and did 30x2=60 to it. I win.
4-0 (i told her that she should get attackers with higher hp and only go
with 1 strategy. Not 2.)
Round 5 vs. Guy with Colorless Wiggly Deck:
He started with 2 jigglies and a ditto. I started with a buzz and
scyther. He thought i was playing hay. HAHA! Fast forward a few turns.
I'd searched for a machop and a rainbow energy. I attached a DCE and
that rainbow and started k.o.ing jigglies left and right until ditto
came up. Then my opponent used bill and got an oak, which he used. He
then got a scyther and a kangaskhan. He oaked again. He got another
jiggly. BIG MISTAKE. I gusted his jiggly and K.Oed it. He put up a
scyther. I searched for a gust and gusted kanga. I then threw caution
out the window and used all i had to kill kanga. I win.

Round 6 vs. Girl with Venucenter Deck:
Man was i lucky. She started with a lone bulbasaur. She went first. I
started with a scyther and 2 buzzes. She attached an energy and said go.
She thought i was playing hay. I hate it when people think i play hay. I
HAD to get a ponyta and a DCE. So i oaked. YES! a DCE and COMPUTER
SEARCH! I searched for ponyta, retreated scyther, promoted ponyta,
attached a DCE, and smash kicked for 20x2=40 for the win. YES!
6-0 (She asked me why her deck wasn't going fast enough. I told her to
add more bills and oaks.)
Round 7 vs. Kid with Dark MukTrio deck:
He started with a grimer, 2 scythers (1 active) and a diglett. I started
with a squirtle, a machop, and a buzz. He attached a grass energy to
grimer. I knew that it was probobaly going to evolve into dark muk. (who
uses regular muk now anyway?) Fast forward a few turns. I'd gotten a
scyther with a DCE, but he had a dark muk and dark dugtrio. My squitle
had 30 damage and poison via a dark muk with 20 damage via squirtle. I
oaked, and got a scoop up and a pluspower. YES! I scooped squirtle,
placed scyther, attached a lightning energy, pluspowered, and slashed
dark muk for the kill. HAHAHAHA! Fast forward a few more turns. I'd
gusted and k.oed his dark dugtrio, and he'd placed a scyther and
slashed. I'd gotten my lone ponyta, and smash kicked his scyther to
death. Of course, he'd gotten another dark muk and pumped up his other
scyther. He'd placed his scyther and k.oed my ponyta. Then i threw all i
had (as usual) at his scyther, which he retreated, then i threw
everything i had at his dark muk for the k.o. I win. Yay.

Round 8 vs. Guy with Magmaker:
I started with a lone machop, while he had a buzz and a magmar. He went
first. He smokescreened. Fast forward a few turns. I'd billed, oaked and
searched A LOT, and i got a ponyta, another machop, 2 buzzes, and a
squirtle which k.oed his magmar. But he got another buzz and a scyther,
sent out buzz, and thunderpunched for the k.o. I'd gotten a machop w/a
DCE and a rainbow, and used a pluspower to k.o. his buzz. He put up
scyther. I put a DCE on ponyta, retreated machop, and smash kicked his
scyther to death. (i LOVE doing that.) He got his other buzz out, and
thunderpunched for the k.o. I put out a buzz of my own, and
thunderpunched for 40. He thunderpunched. I thunderpunched again and
won.

Round 9 vs. Girl with MimeSponge Deck:
She had a lone mime, while i had a lone squirtle. I went first. I
computer searched for a DCE, attached it to squirtle, and attacked. She
without any card drawing, gave up. Man, that was a cheap win.

Round 10 vs. (drumroll) HAYMAKER DECK!: (vomiting in background)
I had a GREAT opening hand, a squirtle, a scyther, a buzz, a Full heal
energy, 2 lightning energy, and an oak. WHAT A BEAUTY! My opponent
probobaly had a crummy hand, cuz all he had was 2 hitmonchans. To make a
long story short, i threw all i had at his chans, k.oing both of them.
He had a scyther and a buzz in play at one time, but they were no match
for ponyta and machop.

I GOT A ROCKET BOOSTER BOX! I learned something from this tourney. When
playing, show no mercy. If you do, your opponent will walk all over you.
But be sure that you're nice, or people will hate you.
