I forgot how many
people but maybe 19 or something
Even though the Gym Heroes perrelease tournament was supposed to be held on
August 5th the owner of the store had it today, the 19th. That worked out
really well for me seeing as how I get went to D and R on the 5th and now I
can enter here! There werent the usual faces because the gym leader forgot
to announce it in front of every one. He announced it when there were like
5 kids left at the pokemon league. I thought I had this tournament won but
Deon came in and was allowed to enter. He used a wildfire deck. I
played a
wildfire last tourney so he bit off me and made one himself.
I decided to take a turbo tuff to the tounrey because I thought we would go
around facing random kids but the tournament was not that. There were 6
rounds and everyone played the 6 rounds. I dont know what u call that type
of tourney, oh well!

round 1 vs fire and water dragon
It was my magmar and scyther vs his charmander and lapras benched. I didnt
get wigglytuff out becasue i wanted to see if i could manage a win by just
using fossil magmar and scyther. It took me a long time to kill his
charmander because of er. I killed it and his lapras killed my magmar.
I
sent out scyther and sneak attacked him. Or snuck attacked him.
Whatever.
He only had gust and energy retrieval so i chose retrieval. Or was it the
gust? Forgot. I slashed him and he gunned me for ten. I attached two
plus
powers and slashed for the win.

round 2 vs sponge but with lt surges electabuzz
Before i say anything about the match i am just gonna ask, "why do people
say electrabuzz and not electabuzz?"
That was just something I had to say. Email me if u know why. Anyway
I
snuck attacked him first turn twice and stripped him,hehe, of his ser and
er. I played no removal gym and attached an energy to a benched wiggly. He
Discharged with Lt Surges Buzz for 30. I scooped him up and oaked, then
oaked, then oaked. I only got like 3 benched pokemon and Wigglytuff with
all of his energy requirements met. I waved him for 40 each turn, giving
him plenty of time to recover. I killed three of his guys before I got a
full bench. He sent out scyther, took damge, and sent the other out.
He
drew a mr.mime and I gusted for the scythers and waved them one after
another. He sent mi9me out and I sent magmar and smooged with poison.
He
potioned but I just smogged him angain for the win.

round 3 vs raindance
He had ditto active and a squirtle benched. I gusted for the squirtle and
attached two plus powers to my jigglypuff. I oaked and got a dc. I
pounded
for the ko. He sent out ditto and lullabied and attached seel to the
bench.
I evolved to wiggly and did the wave for 60. He did the wave on me for
twenty. I gusted out Seel, knocking out ditto, and waved the seel for the
win.

round 4 vs Wiggly Hay
I didnt get oak soon enough but I held my own with my scythers and using my
gusts on his hitmonchans as a stall tactic. This slowed him down but the 4
ser and 3 er gave me some trouble even with no removal gym. He finally got
wigglytuff out and killed my scyther. I got a cpu search and got oak.
I
sent out my own wgglytuff and attached two plus powers for the ko. He sent
out hitmonchan and jabbed for 40. I drew itemfinder and itemfindered for a
plus power and killed hitmonchan. He still had a scyther and jigglypuff on
the bench but he forfeit.

round 5 vs Moltres Stall =(
I was thinking very hard on how to beat him. I thought of taking one prize
then taking forever on my tuns so time would be called before time was
called. I shrugged that idea off because I didnt want to win that way.
We
were playing and I saw that he forgot to set his prizes out. After u draw
a
card and u forget to set your prizes u get disqualifed for not putting them
out. I hope this is true. Is it true, Scott? We kept playing
for fun and
I still won.

round 6 vs haymaker
It was my two jigglypuffs vs his only electabuzz. I went first and
attached
a fire to my benched jiggly. He er me and shocked my active jiggly.
I
attached a fire to jiggly and passes. He punched my jiggy with heads.
I
scooped him up and sent out jiggly. I bill and got a sneak attack and plsu
power. I snuck attacked his gust. I itemfindered for bill and
billed. I
got itemfinder and something so I itemfindered for bill. I then got oak
and
the rest is history.

I was the only one undefeated so it looked like I would walk away with the
12 packs for first place!

good hands through the whole tourney. The only down side was the 5 dollar
entrance fee. Oh well.
