Slowpoke
and Friends

Well I'd just like to start off by saying,"I love
Slowpoke!" So I built a deck around him. This was Pokemon league event
and league style format. I was able to play 6 matches so this is how I did:
NOTE:This deck was made right after Gym: Heroes came out.

Round 1 vs. My brother, Imran with a Haymaker deck
I start with Jigglypuff and Slowpoke on the bench.
He starts with Hitmonchan and a Scyther on the bench.I go first and attatch a
Double Colorless Energy to Jigglypuff and pound. Imran attatches a fighting
energy to Chan and jabs for 40. On my turn, I evolve Slowpoke to Slowbro and
uses its Pokemon Power to move damage to it from Jiggly. Then, I evolve
Jigglypuff to Wigglytuff,attatch a Psychic energy and a Plus Power then I
Rocket's Sneak Attack,Oak,and Bill to get a full bench and then KO Chan. Imran
then leads with a Scyther and attaches a DCE and then passes. ON my turn I
attach another Plus Power to Wiggly and KO Scyther and win.

Round 2 vs. Scott with a fire/fighting deck
I start off by getting a mulligan. I draw again and
get a Slowpoke and he plays Ryhorn.Ryhorn eventually KO's Slowpoke and I get a
Jigglypuff and evolve it. I ER him down and eventually KO Ryhorn which he
evolved to Ryhdon. The rest of the game was easy because he just flung
Digletts and Ponytas at me then he runs out of Pokemon so I win.

Round 3 vs. Adam with mono Psychic
This was extremely easy. I get Jigglypuff and he
gets a single Pidgey.
I attach a DCE to Puff and Pound. On his turn he
gets no basics. So on my turn I KO PIdgey for the win.
record: 3-0

Round 4 vs. Daniel with a "Misty deck"
I get Jigglypuff and he starts with Misty's
Tentacool. It was then an ER war between each other. He played a Tickling
Machine and got heads which meant trouble for me but with the help of a PLus
POwer, I KO Tentacool and then he brings out Misty's Seadra. Misty's Seadra
destroyed everything with Knock-Out Needle and then he brings out Misty's
Poliwhirl and takes his last prize with Water Punch.
Record: 4-1

Round 5 vs. Chris with what looked like a Haymaker
Chris is probably the best kid in our league. I get
out Jigglypuff and Slowpoke on th bench and he has a lone Electabuzz. He
starts and plays Rocket's Sneak Attack putting the Rocket's Trap int omy deck.
Next turn, I Computer Search for Rocket's Trap and then play Trap. I get heads.
I use Item Finder for Trap again and get heads. The I use Rocket's Sneak
Attack to shuffle the last card in his back to his deck. I slap a DCE on
Jiggly and then Pound Away. Chris gets a Lighting Energy on Buzz which was the
Removed on my next turn. Buzz eventually goes down and I win the game because
Chris had no more Pokemon.
Record: 5-1

I finish off by getting my Marsh Badge and a
Misty's Seadra.
