Toy's R Us (Near Wall Mart and Bj's)
8/5/2000

Hi again, all u pojo fans out there.  Its the man of many decks. (I try
to come up with a new one each week so that my opponents dont memorize
my decks)  This time i am at a Toy's R Us Pokemon League event.  In 1
day I got 2 badges, Rainbow and Soul.  I used both my Raichu's Revenge
deck,  and  this wonderful Haunted Beach Deck.  So without further chat
here's the deck:

Pokemon:

2 Mr. Mimes
1 Movie Mewtwo
1 Chansey
3 Base Abras
2 Base Kadabras
1 Base Alakazam
3 Fossil Gastlys
3 Fossil Haunters
2 Fossil Gengars
4 Jigglypuffs
3 Wigglytuffs
3 Base Squirtles
2 Base Wartortles
2 Blastoise (1 Dark and 1 Base)

Trainers

4 Energy Removals
3 Pokemon Breeders
1 Scoop Up
1 Pokemon Trader
1 Nightly Garbage Run

Energies

8 Psychic
10 Water

That is the Haunted Beach deck.  At the bottom, I will explain the cards
and how they fit in the deck.  I managed to get 1000+ points in a little
over four hours.

1st game Haunted beach deck vs Thomas with a psychic stall.
His deck was good, except that it was missing a key card for a psychic
stall deck, the big round egg that we giggle about and call Chansey.
Ok, anyways I went first.  I got a Jiggly, a Wiggly, an Abra, a Chansey,
and 3 Psychic energies.  I played the Jiggly and lullabied.  He got
tails on the flip.  Since his Abra was asleep, he put a psychic energy
on his other Abra.  He got another tails on the flip.  I drew a Kadabra
and evolved Abra.  I attached the other psychic energy onto Jiggly.  I
then pounded for 20.  He became unasleep when he finally got a heads.
He retreated the Abra to send out the one with an energy.  He then
evolvolved into Kadabra and passed.  I got a Psychic energy and played
that and Wiggly onto Jiggly and Waved for 30 damage.  He had nothing to
do but pass because his hand, he said was all DCEs.  So then I drew a
Mime.  I played Mime and Waved for 40, knocking out Kadabra.  Then he
attached an energy and psyshocked for 0 damage and no paralysis.  Then
Wiggly did the wave 1 last time.  Game over.

Game # 3  ( #2 was with Raichu) Me vs another kid witha Turbo Wiggly.
He only got out a Abra the whole game.  My Fossil Gastly quickly
disposed of that problem.  Game over.

That was the only games i used Haunted Beach in, that i remember.

Here's the Why they belong in deck portion of my report.

Base Kadabra:  Great for those annoying colorless pokes and for Haymaker
users,  Fear the match up of a Kadabra vs a Ditto or Hitmonchan.

Mr. Mime: Destroys Raindance decks and other evolved pokes like
Arcanine, Charizard, Charmeleon, Nintales etc.

Movie Mewtwo: Just the all around heavy hitter for any psychic deck
alond with Kadabra,

Alakazam: He will be on the bench most of the time with his pal Chansey.

Chansey: Biggest poke in world in terms of HP along with Charizard and
that jumbo card with the 3 birds.  Only use Double-Edge as a desparate
move.

The Blastoise line: is there for some added punch and more HP to use
with Alakazam.

1 CARD THAT SHOULD BE IN DECK, FOSSIL GOLDUCK: A must for any
Psychic/Water deck unless u gat a Movie Mewtwo or a Blastoise.  A water
poke that uses psychic energy.  Use with a retreating Mime can be deadly
for a not pumped up Charizard.

Wigglytuff: adds some punch.
