Hi, I'm Will. I made a new deck called cornhusker and decided to try it out
at a tournament at books-a-million. The tournament was double
elimination. The entry fee was 1 non holo rare and first place got half of
all the rares given by all the participants, second got a third, and third
got a sixth. Well, here's my deck:

Pokémon

4 ditto
3 electabuzz
2 fossil magmar
2 aerodactyl

Trainers
4 oak
4 bill
4 computer search
4 item finder
3 gust of wind
3 nightly garbage run
3 pluspower
3 mysterious fossil
3 energy retrieval
2 scoop up

energy

3 rainbow energy
4 double colorless energy
4 fire energy
5 electric

The strategy is to keep them from evolving with aerodactyl, while beating
down on them with magmar, electabuzz, and ditto.

Round 1: Me vs. Daniel with mono-fire deck

Daniels deck relied heavily on arcanines and ninetales. My turn 2
aerodactyl whacked his plan up. The dittos and electabuzzes didn't help him
either, this was a quick match.

1-0

Round 2: Me vs. some kid with mono-electric

He started out with a base voltorb and jungle picachu. I had a ditto. He
eventually got out a base electrode but my ditto just tore him up.

2-0

Round 3: Me vs. Drayton with aidmaker

Oh great, I have to play the only person there capable of beating me in the
third round. Drayton's deck uses hitmonchan and electabuzz, while using
dodrio to lower their retreat cost to 1. He has a really bad start, he has
an electabuzz and nothing else, I have a ditto. I go first, I put down a
double colorless on ditto and thunderpunch and get a tails. He goes and
thundershocks and doesn't parilyze me. My turn comes and his only basic is
and electabuzz with 30 damage on it still. I use thunderpunch. I became
exited because if I got a heads, I got an easy victory, but the coin flip
was tails, shoot! Then his deck started working, he oaked twice in one turn
and he became established. He got a couple electabuzz and hitmonchan and he
came out with the win.

2-1

Round 4: Me vs. my brother Ben with MY wigglytuff deck

I let my brother use my wigglytuff deck for this tournament. So when I
played him I knew exactly what was in the deck. He put up quite a fight
having four benched scythers and 2 fully pumped promo mewtwos at one time,
but he just couldn't handle electabuzz and ditto.

3-1

Round 5: Me vs. Steven with raindance

He started out with promo articuno and I had electabuzz. Electabuzz
eventually took out all of his pokemon, all of them were weak to lightning
exept articuno. He did finish off 2 electabuzz but his 2 lapras weren't a
match for my last electabuzz. My turn  2 aerodactyl didn't exactly help him
either.

4-1

Round 6: Me vs. Rick with energy denial

Right now there is only three people left: me(4-1), drayton(3-1), and Rick
(4-0). Rick starts out with a lone movie mewtwo. I have a fossil magmar and
ditto, i start with ditto. He does the "sponge" trick and powers up his
mewtwo in one turn. I smokescreen. He energy removals my magmar and psyburns
successfully. I attach an energy to ditto and pass. He psyburns my magmar
for the k.o. I send out ditto attach a double colorless, and psyburn for the
win.

5-1

It was late so we decided to split the prize three ways. We each get 5 non
holo rares, and me and Rick, having the best record each got a holo, I got a
base mewtwo and he got a lapras.

Props to My Mom for letting me stay late
Props to steven for having the tournament
props to Rick, Steven, Ben, and Daniel for putting up a good fight

Slops to Drayton for always complaing about my coin flips, accusing me of
cheating, and copying my decks
