Hey everyone!

This is what happened before the tourney, so read if you're interested. If not, skip this paragraph.
I had a lot of trouble finding the store that I was going to play at. They moved. My mom, brother and I spent 1 hour driving across town, to find out that the store had moved. =•P  We tried the store beside them to phone and get their address, but they didn't know how to use their phone.
But we did find the store, and it was kinda small.. *blech*

Anywho, before I get to my deck, I'm gonna tell you something about this store: The owner is only looking forward to lie, cheat, and steal in order to get the cards that he wants.  Last time I went to his store, I was 10 minutes late for the tourney. He completely booted my friend and I out, and my dad almost left us there, and he wouldn'tve come back for another 2 hours. I'm glad I caught up in time.

Anywho, here's my deck, after I added the Gym cards: (I forget what I took out)

17 Pokemon:
2 Dratini (Base)
2 Dragonair
2 Gastly (Fossil)
2 Haunter (Fossil, duh!)

2 Dk./Golduck (1 fossil, 1 TR)
1 Mr. Mime
1 Sabrina's Mr. Mime

20 Trainers:

2 Computer Search
1 Switch

1 Gust of Wind

Of course, we did get our boosterpacks, and this is what I got:

Uncommon:
Misty's Tentacool (level 16)
Blaine's Magmar (Lv. 29)

The card art is awesome!
I got some trading in, which is good! =) I got some really good cards dat I needed, and I ripped some people off, and they knew, but didn't care. =) I luv this so far..

Matches 1-3

Well, I forget these matches, I just know dat my deck turned out really well. =)

3 - 0 - 0
W  L   T

Match 4- ??? with Grass/Psychic resistant Colourless
This match I had some serious problems with.  He used all colourless Pokémon. With psychic resistance.  I got both Gastly's. You cna guess the result.

3 - 1 - 0
W  L   T

Match 5- Cool Dude that works at the store with Grass/Colourless Dark/Muk  and Dk. dragonair/ite.
Yay!  This match proves that my deck is good, afterall. I got my strategy up and running. The stars of this match:
Golduck, Dragonair, Misty's Tentacool, and Sabrina's Venonat. I used their ER attacks, and all the ER/SER's I had, to completely destroy his strategy. I won, with less than 10 cards left in my deck to draw.

4 - 1 - 0
W  L   T

IN BETWEEN

I traded my Dark Charizard (Non-Holo) for a Holo Gengar and a non-holo fossil haunter! YAY!
Then, I traded the Gengar for a Holo BS2 Clefairy and a BS2 Dragonair. Yay!

Match 6: Whiny little kid with Electric Damage swap deck.
I started with a lone Gastly. I stated to joke, and then I SER'd him, and things went uphill from there! He kept on switching his damage to 2 Kangaskahn on his bench, and to a promo mew. I finally gusted out a BS gastly (Hehehehehehehehe!!!) for the win.

5 - 1 - 0
W  L   T

Matches 7 & 8:
I forget these 2 matches, but I know I won. They were good opponents, too! I shoulda written them down before-hand

7 - 1 - 0

Afterwards:
(Warning, I'm gonna rant!)
I went to the boss of the store, and showed him my 2 Nintendo power promos (Dark Persian and NP Mewtwo).

BIG mistake. The cheapskate offered me a Whole Blastoise, unlimited, form the BS, for BOTH, Telling me dat it was worth around $40 US. Grr..
Then a Chancey, unlimited, BS, for Both, again. Then (this is really funny), a MP Mewtwo, for both. During all this, he started to smoke, and I'm allergic. Anywho..

He tried to make all of them look like a good deal ('m not as stupid as he looks), then he got mad when I refused! (I shoulda showed him my Pojo magizine  =P) Meanwhile, he quickly traded my bro for his Holo Erika, for a MP DRAGONITE. He quickly traded back. I've taught him well.

So we left the store, pausing long enough for me to get a TR booster, (I got a non-holo Dk. Dugtrio)

(I've stopped ranting, It's safe to come out of hiding now! =) )

All in all, I think my deck did pretty good. What do you think?

Propz & Slopz time!

Propz to:

•The people that I played, for being good sports!
•The nice, and human gym leaders
•My trading!
•My bro for not being tricked my that horrid, nasty, evil, vicious  man!
•My mom, for understanding Pokémon! (Ha, I did put it in. now I bet scott has something to say about dat, dontchya ?)

Slopz to:
•The rest of my TR booster pack
•The store for moving.

Major slopz to:
• The store owner. Scott, anything to add about him?
• The tornado warnings that allmost hit Red Deer, where I almost had to  play at.

Okay, well... I'd better go. E-mail me at komepond@home.com subj: Tourney report
to bug me about anything you think I should add or change about my deck, or if you want to agree/disagree about that EVIL owner, or if you just wanna chat!

=)

Bye! And try this deck out, I think it's really good. And hopefully you do too! Hey.. why don't you e-mail me about if it's good or not, too? (Sorry, I just love getting e-mail)

Signing out,
Dogbert
