I thought that this was a real tournament, but people came and went and
names were never taken and matches weren't assigned to you. But, anyway, I
followed Souper's Advice (mostly) and entered this league session.

"The Denialator"

4 Fossil Magmar
4 Electabuzz
3 Scyther

4 Bill
3 Prof. Prof. Oak
4 Energy Removal
3 Super Energy Removal
4 PlusPower
3 Gust of Wind
3 Lass
2 Computer Search
2 Item Finder

10 Fire Energy
8 Lightning Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy

My record so far is 10-0 with this deck, against various opponents and deck
types. Today was really fun, though. On to the battles!

Round 1 - The Denialator vs. My friend Michael with the Cleaner (Fire/Grass)
This match was pretty fast. He started with Lickitung, me Electabuzz. After
an Energy Removal and a PlusPower, I K.O.'ed his Lickitung. All he had was a
growlithe with one fire energy attached. He added an energy and flared. I had
10 HP left (because of Lickitung) but I started powering up a Scyther. I
thunderpunched, killing myself but dealing 30 to Growlithe. He flared my
Scyther for 40, but I slashed for the win.
Wins-Losses: 1-0

Round 2 - The Denialator vs. Michael's friend (Grass/Water)
This was too easy. All he had were three basics, but they were all measly
like Magikarp, Tangela, and Poliwag. My Pokemon ate them for Lunch. (Insert
Gobbling sound here).
Wins-Losses: 2-0

Round(s) 3 - I played against Michaels little brother in a 2 out of three
matchup. All he ever started with was Nidoran Male. In the first game, I got
a second turn kill with slash and pluspower. In the second game, I got a
third turn kill with two smokescreens and a smog.
Wins-Losses: 3-0

Now the matches get interesting.

Round 4 - The Denialator vs. another little kid who challenged me (Fighting)
We started the battle, I had Scyther out, and Electabuzz on the Bench. He had
no basics the first hand, but in the new hand he filled his whole bench up
with Mysterious Fossils, Machops, Geodudes, and his active was a Cubone. I
powered up my Electabuzz while letting Scythers resistance block his attacks.
I KO'ed his Cubone and he let an Onix just sit there. He kissed a card (yeah,
a kiss) and put it on the Mysterious Fossil. It was a Aerodactyl! I attached
an energy to my Scyther and used Thundershock. He was not paralyzed. I
thundershocked twice more, while he pounded on my Electabuzz for 20 damage
each turn. I retreated Electabuzz, sent out Scyther, and Killed his Onix. I
think he sent out Machop or something, but I Gust of Winded for his
Aerodactyl and slashed it for 60. His machop and Geodude couldn't hurt me, so
I won because he ran out of basics.
Wins-Losses: 4-0

The next two kids were just too confident. As a wise man once said: "Have no
confidence and you'll go far". It wasn't a great saying, but it works in this
situation.

Round 5 - The Denialator vs. a kid with (Mono-Water, and Grimer????)
All he had was Squirtles and Poliwags and a lone Magikarp. I did see one
Poliwhirl, that got him one prize, but he was PO'ed because I would kill the
basic like one or two turns before he was going to evolve it.
Wins-Losses: 5-0

Michael's ($#^@%%#@) friend came to watch and told the kid (in Round 6) I had
Fire pokemon in my deck before we started. The opponent went into his bag and
got a different deck. (!#%^%$$@$^**^%@&#%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Round 6 - The Denialator vs. (Pure water deck)
This deck was similar to Round 5. I just had to start with one Magmar and one
fire energy!!!!!!!! I smokescreened his Lapras, blocking most of his attacks.
(Beginning Game) I used Gust of Wind and got one kill. Soon enough I got
another Magmar, but no energy. I used Energy Removal and Super Energy Removal
to keep his Gyarados underpowered for a lot, I mean a lot of turns
(Mid-Game). Somehow after all those turns I collected 4 prizes. I finally got
a Computer Search and got a Prof. Oak. That gave me energy, two scythers, two
pluspowers and a Double Colorless Energy. His Gyarados took out my Magmars,
but it had a damage on it. I thought about it, so instead of powering up my
Scyther now, I attached an energy to my last Magmar and Smokescreened. He
flipped a coin for smokescreen, and got heads. He killed my Magmar. I
attached a Double Colorless Energy to Scyther, added my pluspowers, attacked,
and won!
Wins-Losses: 6-0 :)

So with my 4 wins from before and the 6 wins today, I now have a 10-0 record.
I hope I face some really challenging decks soon though.

Props and Slops:
Props to the Gym Prerelease Tournament.
Props to the Gym Packs I bought.
Props to the Pokemon League.
Props to Pojo.com!

Slops to the non-holo cards I got in the packs
Slops to this stupid kid who annoyed me throughout my last two battles and
when I asked him to play, he said his deck was an Anti-haymaker and he'd kill
me so fast. He then walked away!
