Hi this is the deck and tournament report i've
played in a legal pokémon tournament in Turkey.There were 34 people in this
tournament.I've finished 2nd this tournament.
The tournament's each match have 2 rounds
normally,if tied can be 3 rounds.
My deck is:
3 electabuzz
4 pikachu
3 raichu
4 charmander
3 charmeleon
2 charizard
3 scyther
2 lass
3 pokémon trader
4 plus power
3 gust of wind
2 energy retrieval
2 professor oak
4 double colorless energy
18 lightning energy
Yeah the deck
is this.3 electabuzzes are classics for lightning decks,also there are 3
raichus for its agility(mostly agility sometimes thunder)and Char family for
their colorless attacks.Scyther is for Haymaker decks.Becouse this deck
(without scyther)is weak against haymakers.But scyther is very good(i think
better than electabuzz)becouse it has got zero retreat cost,resistance to
fighting,colorless attacks and high hitpoint.Also electabuzzes are awful
against Hitmonchans
2 lass for stall decks and
super energy removals.
3 pokémon trader for heavy
hitters
4 plus power for extra damage
3 gust of wind for weak
cards(especially magikarp or abra)
2 energy retrieval for getting
energy from discard pile
2 professor oak for getting
pokemons or getting effective cards against weird decks

double colorless energy for scyther,charizard,charmeleon,charmander.

lightning energy,becouse you don't need any fire energy,char family has got
colorless attacks,flamethrower and ember are bad(i think)becouse you got
charmander and charmeleon for opening charizard fast.Don't say pokémon
breeder, 3 of them is bad for 2 charizards!
TOURNAMENT REPORT
First match:Ahmet Kadioglu vs.the kid with an
awful grass deck.
The match was pretty
easy.Becouse the kid's deck was really bad.I think he's new to pokémon.
First round.
I win the coin flip,I've
remembering greatly,my opening hand was great.It has got
1 scyther
1 electabuzz
1 pikachu
1 charmander
2 lightning energy
1 double colorless energy
I've opened a scyther on
bench,becouse I have double colorless energy.And other pokemon are
benchs.He opened a bulbasaur,on second turn he get an ivysaur and get 30
damage on my turn,by the way i draw a prof. oak.I cast oak.And get a raichu
poketrader and charizard also... i forgot the
others.I didn't open raichu and cast it for a poketrader.And got
charmeleon.The game easily finished
The second round was too
short.He has only on bulbasaur.My active pokémon was charmander.I didn't
evolved it and game finished on 3rd turn!

Second Match:Ahmet Kadioglu vs. A guy with a
Moltres/stall deck
The match was normal.Becouse my
deck has weakness to stall decks.I learned it after match.I have got many card
drawing or trading effects and doesn't have a Mr.Fuji(or gambler
also,maintenance can be good).And Moltres is perfect,for its mountainfire.And
there is 30 energies and 4 Energy retrievals in my opponent's deck.I think on
first match(sorry,my english can be poor sometimes)
he thank i am a lazy kid(Age:12)with a lollipop in
my hand.But I showed him how was my deck,I played really fast with a second
turn Raichu Agility finished the first round.But the second round was awful
for me.I've got an electabuzz only with an oak.I did a terrible mistake and
cast oak.Then the perfect grow-this-moltres-on-the-bench-and-cast-mountainfire
combo finished me.My one lass gone with this.And a super energy removal
finished my last chance,my charizard.My deck has one cards at last.I draw my
card and see Lass! I have got eight trainers in my hand and cast it.Wow his
two removals are gone with this and I have got eight cards in my
deck now.And there was two gust of winds there.I draw a prize with my
scyther.I have got one prize and three cards last.He has got a magmar(fossil)
and i gusted it.Then cast raichu's agility.His magmar smokescreened me.I've
two cards and three turns now.Wow,energy retrieval save me,i cast it and get
two lightning energies.Then my raichu has got enough energy to cast
thunder!!!His magmar can't smokescreened me!And i cast thunder.I won!!!But
this match showed me my deck was powerful,right but my deck was not powerful
against stall decks.Wow what a match!

Third match:Ahmet Kadioglu vs. A girl with a
fighting deck.
My deck was powerful against
fightings too.I win quickly with scyther,electabuzz,raichu.This match's total
time was 10 minutes i think.I beat her 3 hitmonchans with my scythers.I beat
her Machamp with my Charizard.And i couldn't beat her chansey,becouse it hurt
my charizard badly with double-edge.Charizard hasn't got four energies,but my
scyther beat it chansey.What can i say,i beat her easily.But fighting
decks hurt my electabuzzes or raichus,that's why scyther is perfect for my
deck.

Fourth match:Ahmet Kadioglu vs.A guy with an
-open-arcanine-kill-your-opponent deck
That was the first and only
match i've lost.Arcanine hurt me really bad.Also ninetales was powerful.He
hasn't got a charizard but he wanted to trade.Well on first round he opened a
ninetales and an arcanine and i lose quickly.Becouse this powerful combo
energy retieval-ninetales hurt all my pokemon.And
on second round i won becouse his only pokémon was growlithe and he hasn't
got an arcanine i hurt growlithe great.But on third round my only pokemon was
scyther!and he opened his charmander.A second turn kill!My first match lost.

Fifth match:Ahmet Kadioglu vs. Emre Barut(my
associate)
The match was pretty
good.Becouse i know his deck,psychic,purple power.The deck's main cards are
3XAlakazam
4XChansey
3XMr.Mime
A superb match for me
becouse...let's forget about it and turn on first round.His active was mime
and mine was electabuzz then i opened a raichu on 2nd turn he got a
kadabra.Then I gust up kadabra to the active pokemon.I kill kadabra
and get a prize with my raichu then my chaemeleon come to active with one
double colorless and one lightning energy on it. Then it evolved into a
charizard with a lightning energy i gust up mime and get chansey,chansey has
got 10 damage counters with my charizard now also on his turn he can't get the
scrunch's flip a coin effect.I killed chansey with my electabuzz,i retreated
charizard and get an electabuzz. this was pretty good for mime too but when i
did it he conceded.Two of rounds

I get on semifinals with a guy
with a Gengar Mirror deck,a guy with a raindance and a guy with a
grass deck.My associate was 5th with purple power. All games are one
round after this.

Fantastic game he opened a
squirtle active and I opened ElectabuzzX2,Scyther,Pikachu,Charmander, get an lightning
energy on electabuzz and 20 damage with paralyze.But Blastoise 3 energies
on it and first oak with articuno laprasX2 with a second oak with fully
energy on them hurt me then,I only opened pokétraders for raichus
and pikapiiiis.After my 2nd Raichu with thunder energies.I understand
that I won.

Damn
my only pokemon was scyther without a double colorless,I'm opening
energy,he removes and Ditto,ditto,ditto,ditto,ditto this damn
creature......killed meeeeeeee
