Swiss
1st Match vs Veronica with Fire-Fighting
It was a pretty quick match with my Scyther KOing her Meowth, Charmander,
and Machop in about 8 turns.  She had no more benched.  A quick win.
1-0

2nd Match vs Travis with Psy-Electric
My Electabuzz trashes his 2 voltorbs in 3 turns.  He ran out of Pokemon.
Another quick win.
2-0

3rd Match vs Tom with Electric
It took me two turns to kill his base set Pikachu with my Magmar.  That was
all he had and I was in the tournament.
3-0

Tournament
Semi-Finals vs Josh with Hay-Insane
At the last tournament, I had lost to Josh in the finals.  There is
definitely some bad blood between us.  We both had Scyther as our starting
Pokemon.  I won the flip.  I drew Magmar, retreated Scyther, Smokescreened
his Scyther and eventually killed it with Smog and PlusPower my next turn.
After that,  he unloaded energy removals.  I couldn't build up anything.  He
killed two Electabuzz, a Scyther, and a Magmar, while I got no KOs.  Towards
the end, I showered him with energy removals.  I killed two of his
Hitmonchans with one Scyther.  And then he dropped my Scyther with Buzz
after I damaged it.  My Magmar, with some energy removals and gusts, damaged
his two Electabuzz.  Josh almost killed Magmar when I scooped him up and
dropped the Electabuzzes with a Ditto that had a Double Colorless.  He
didn't have any benched, so I won.  He now lost the chance to win any prizes
for placing in the top four!
4-0

Quater-Finals vs Craig with grass-Buzz
The match went very quick.  I only needed my Magmar to roast his Scyther,
Pinsir, and Grimer and he was out of Pokemon.  He gusted in my Scyther three
times.  It was a stupid move because I'd just retreat for zero!  Only once
he paralyzed me with Grimer.  My next opponent was Cody, Josh and Craig's
friend.  Craig said "Fear the Mar-Chan Deck."  I said "I'll see who has the
fear after the finals."
5-0
Finals vs Cody with Mar-Chan
It was a very long match.  I knew my Electabuzz would be in trouble if he
powered up Hitmonchan.  So I unloaded a bunch of energy removals that
prohibited him from getting Chan powered up.  My Scythers ripped up his
Chans, then I had to watch his Magmars from getting ahold of them.  After I
burnt alot of his energy he went nuts with bills, oaks, item finds, computer
searches, and energy retrievals to try and get energy.  He used energy
removals of his own.  I stalled with some gusts and scoop sups.  He ended up
decking himself!!! I won!

I got five base set and a core 2 pack.  In them I pulled Alakazam,
Hitmonchan, Pidgeotto, Computer Search Scoop Up and Clefairy Doll.

props to Electabuzz, Scyther, Ditto, and Magmar
