Hi the deck I used is called Boiling Water
it is a slightly modified "Hot Water" theme deck.
So it isn't the best but I entered it into the tourney. It was held in
and area around Ravenna Oh. called the "Treasure Chest" on
4/22/00 there were about 8 people there that were registered for
DCI. we went 2 matches was one battle so it was a
littles confusing and you had to go 2 out of 3. Here is my deck.

Battle 1.(Match 1) Boiling Water Vs. A
Grass Water deck
I start out with a Eevee he has a full
bench and a Kangaskhan as active. He goes 1st and uses Fetch.
I put an energy on and use Tail wag it works! He can't
attack me so it's my turn. I put another energy on eevee and evole him into
Flareon and use quick attack for 30. He uses Fetch again. I put another
energy on and use quick attack for 30. He then uses Comet Punch and gets me
for 40. I use quick attack again for 10. He goes and uses Comet Punch
for 60 and kills me.
Battle 1. (Match 2) Boiling Water Vs. A Grass
Water deck
I start out this time with an eevee a
poliwag and a charmander. I put charmander out first but he goes
1st. He uses Kangaskhan again and does fetch. I put and
energy on Charmander and use scratch for 10. He puts a energy on one of
his bench and uses Fetch. I put a fire on him and use Ember
for 30. He puts another on Kangaskhan and gets ready to do Comet Punch
but he uses Fetch. I use Ember again. He puts another energy on
Kangaskhan and uses Comet Punch for the Kill. I put eevee out and use tail wag
it fails. He kills me with Comet Punch. I send out my last pokemon
poliwag I use watergun for 10. He then kills me.
Battle 2. (Match 1) Boiling Water Vs. Todd with a
Psychic/Fire Deck
This was a tough deck but i knew I had a
good chance. I start out with Charmander,Poliwag,Magmar(Fossil),Magmar.
He starts out with Mr. Mime,Abra,Charmander,Magamar(Fossil). He goes 1st
and uses Invisible Wall. I then use scratch for 10 his mouth
dropped. He then puts an energy one Mr. Mime. I put an energy on Magmar
and use scratch. He puts a energy on abra and laughs and says go. I know he
must have Kadabra and Alakazam in his hand. i use scratch. He says go. I then
kill Mr. Mime I draw a prize and get poliwhirl! He puts abra out already with
2 psychic energy's on it he evolves it into Kadabra and says go. I
add and energy to charmander and use ember. After that it was down
hill.
Battle 2. (Match 2) Boiling Water Vs. Todd with a
Psychic/Fire Deck
I knew his moves good now so I
took over the battle killing everyone of his pokemon!!
Battle 2. (Match 3) Boiling Water Vs. Todd
Both of us get are best pokemon out quickly
and evolve them fast I got first and do a great
deal of damage to his Chamander. He then does ember to me.
It goes I do a good move to him and the same to me.He ends up beating me
by prizes I only needed 1 more.
I had to leave after that so I
was a Bye!
