Dear Pojo,

This is my Fighting/Colorless deck. I couldn¹t come up with a catchy name for it, so just post it as Fighting/Colorless. The tournament was held at Games Unique at Lakeline Mall on April 22, in the Food Court. There were 29 people there. I don¹t like this tournament too much, because 60% of the people there play Haymakers, 20% Raindance, and the remaining 20% play mono decks. Sorry to those who (A) play those decks, (B) go to the Lakeline tourney, or (C) don¹t like statistics. Anyway here is my deck:

Oh, this might be relevant. This is my second tourney, so I wasn¹t AS nervous as last time. I did really badly about names, so in all of my matches, I only know 1 name.  My tourney plays by prizes taken, not by W/L. I wish it was W/L:( Anyway, here is the report...

Game 1

Fighting/Colorless vs. Haymaker

This was bad. I started with Ditto, him Magmar(F). I go first, energy to Ditto, Smokescreen. He puts energy on Magmar, Smokescreen fails. I put energy, Smog, no poison. He Smogs and poisons. I have 30 damage, I Smog, no poison. He Smogs, 20+40=60, poison at the end of his turn, I lose, no basics. He gives me 1 prize.

Fighting/Colorless vs. James with mono-Electric

This was the easiest march of my life. He starts with Eevee, I have 2 Hitmonchan. I go first, lay energy, Jab for 40. He Tail Wags successfully. I lay energy on benched Hitmonchan. He Pokeballs for Jolteon(very bad choice) lays electric on Jolteon, Quick Attack for 10. My turn, I Jab, no basics, I win.

Game 3

Fighting/Colorless vs. Fighting/Fire/Electric

I don¹t remember all the details of this match, even though it took a long time. I got 2 mulligan at the start. He starts with Electabuzz, and I have Hitmonchan. He goes first, and then we went back and forth switching until he killed 3 Pokemon with 1 of his Dark Charizard. In the meantime, he used 4 Bill and 2 Oak, plus 4 cards drawn at the beginning for my mulligans. So I won because of deck out. Sorry for the low level of detail.

Fighting/Colorless vs. Haymaker

I started with 2 Hitmonchan, he has Scyther. I go first, lay fighting energy, forfeit attack because I can¹t do any damage. He sends out Electabuzz, Thundershocks for 10 and no paralysis. I lay fighting on Kangaskhan, Jab for 40. He puts DBL colorless on Scyther. I kill Electabuzz. He sends out Scyther, energy, Slash. I put energy on Kangaskhan, forfeit attack. He uses PlusPower to kill Hitmonchan. I put DBL colorless on Kangaskhan, Comet Punch, 80! He sends out Hitmonchan. I lay energy on Hitmonchan, do 40. He attacks for 40. I put energy on Hitmonchan, so he is ready, and kill Hitmochan with Comet Punch. He Super Energy Removals Kangaskhan, sends out Electabuzz. I switch, Hitmonchan, Special Punch. No basics, I win.

Game 5

Because I finished so fast, the guy in charge let me play another game. If I won I would be the number 1 seed in the finals. To get in the finals at all, I had to get 4 prizes. I had Jigglypuff, he had Scyther. He goes first, grass energy on Scyther, Swords Dance. I put DBL colorless, Pound. He puts DBL, Slash, I¹m dead. I send out Kangaskhan, Fetch. He Slashes. I Fetch. He Slashes. I Fetch, and by now I have Snorlax down, Jigglypuff down, and Hitmonchan down. He Slashes. I send out Jigglypuff, Lullaby. He wakes up at the begining of his turn, Slash. I Lullaby. He wakes up and kills me. I send out Snorlax. He kills that. I send out Hitmonchan, he kills it. No basics, I lose. He gave me a prize.

Man, 3 prizes short of the finals. I finished 7th. Better than 11th last time. Well I had a good time. And, I know I said earlier how I hated Haymakers, but, next time I go, I¹m playing one. I have no other choice. They are so good. But still, here¹s to original decks!
