Dear PoJo:

Hi my name is Sting from British Columbia, Canada. I am 13 years old
and am a huge Pokemon fan. I recently had a tournament on a local
7-Eleven. It was in Richmond of British Columbia, the location was a
7-Eleven on Steveston Hwy. and No.5 Road. It happened just two weeks
ago. A lot of kids from ages 8 to 14 attended the tourney. Here is my
deck:

20 Pokemon Cards ( Colorless, Grass, Fighting )

- 1 Chansey
- 1 Scyther
- 1 Hitmonchan
- 4 Nidoran (F)
- 2 Nidorina
- 1 Nidoqueen
- 4 Machop
- 2 Machoke
- 1 Machamp
- 2 Jigglypuff
- 1 Wigglytuff

15 Trainer Cards

- 2 Professor Oak
- 1 Imposter Professor Oak
- 2 Energy Removal
- 1 Super Energy Removal
- 2 Potion
- 1 Super Potion
- 1 Gust of Wind
- 1 Switch
- 1 Defender
- 1 Plus Power
- 1 Pokemon Trader
- 1 Pokemon Breeder

25 Energy Cards

- 4 Double Colorless Energy
- 11 Grass Energy
- 10 Fighting Energy

Surprisingly, I finished in 2nd place next to a kid that looked like 10
years old. He was very mature and barely didn't say anything when I
faced him. I had four matches on that day, first match I faced a guy in
his 30's. I think he had a Fighting and Physic deck with some Colorless.
I didn't think I saw any Jungle cards in there. It was a pressuring
match. I felt so nervous in this match because I thought I couldn't win.
I think the first match is the hardest. But I beat him with my Scyther
on his Mankey using Swords Dance. I could see that this guy knows
Pokemon! In my second match, I was playing a girl ( probaly the only one
in the tourney ), who had a Fire and Colorless deck. I beat her easily
against her weak Ponytas and Charmanders. She was frusterated that she
couldn't draw her Charizard. What a relief there! The third person I
played was a cocky high schooler. He thought he was all that, insulting
me and saying he can beat me with ease, what a loser! I definately
showed him, he was playing a Water and Grass deck, I think he brought a
Overgrowth, cause most of his cards were from there. He was a piece of
cake, killed him with my Nidoqueen against his Gyardos which he got late
in the game and only killed one of my Pokemon with it. And the last kid,
who I ended up losing to and who became the winner of the tourney had a
Fire and Fighting deck with some Colorless. Wow was it good! He has a
Ninetales, Hitmonchan, and a Kangaskhan! Unstoppable! He took control of
me from the start, figured out he drew a Hitmonchan from his starting
hand! Luck and skill was involved in this one, I only had Jigglypuffs to
defend myself, used my Imp. Prof. Oak on him and he drew out a
Kangaskhan! Things weren't just going right for me in this one. The
whole day was a success though, I had a great time and I won one Basic
and Jungle pack! Got myself a Clefairy Doll and a Dragonair. Well, hope
you like this Pojo, please post it!

Sincerely,
  Sting
