Well this is now the 9th Tournament I have been too with my Farmonbuzz deck...This week I went to the a new place again called Deja Vu Games..In Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and before the tournament report begins I would like to say...If anyone who is reading this and lives in the K/W Area or in Southern Ontario...Come to Deja Vu every Sat. at 2:00 PM! This place needs to make a name for it self...It has DCI sanctioned tournaments every week, but unfortunatly it is a small shop and does not attract the miniuim of 8 for DCI so PLZ if you live near where I just said...Email me... OK now for the Report...I used Farmonbuzz again this week and again with a turnout of only 6! DCI just couldn't happen...there were a bunch of other kids watching though...I should tell the store manager to charge them for watching there were about 20 kids coming in and out...asking all the particpants what there decks were and stuff...annoying..REALLY ANNOYING...First the deck then What happened. 12x Fighting Energy 8x Electric Energy 4x D.C. 4x Hitmonchan 4x Electabuzz 4x Scyther 4x Bill 3x Oak 4x Potion 4x Energy Removal 3x Super Energy Removal 4x Pluspower 2x G.O.W. The Tournament was that point system thing..3 points for a win...0 for a loss and 1 for a tie i think...I'm just getting used to this point system since most tournies i've been in have been different from this...So...with out further or do here's what happened Round 1-VS Cory S. with a Grass deck (Too much variety) He had bellsprouts, oddish's and venonats all over...no venomoths and glooms I later found out, but he did use Weepinbell and Vitreebell (Vitrebell SUX!)It was over fast...My Hitmonchan that I used from the start survived till the end...Thanks to Potions...I win he only had 3 basics it was fast...He asked me how to improve the deck afterwords ...I said Take out vitreebell and that would be a great start :) OUTCOME:WIN 3 Points Round 2-VS Troy ?. with a Fire/Fighting He did alright he thought his fire pokemon would stop my scythers he's wrong...he only got the fighting portion out :( too bad it was over fast for him and his digletts...I think he did get out a Ponyta and evolved to Rapidash, but couldn't get any energy on him...So I win easily and quickly. OUTCOME:WIN 6 Points Round 3-VS My sister Monica with a Fighting deck This time she actually made her own deck without my help...Good Job Monica about time...It used Breeders and Machamps...no Machokes...It was undefeated so far in the tourny, but I'll change that...Again Scyther Kicked BUTT, her Machamps could never be powered up due to Energy Removal and she also used digletts and Dugtrios...bad move I was doing 60 damage to her little digletts...Ha ...I win she stalled with Machamp and nearly killed me with his Poke Power but I retreated Scyther for free and sent out another...that made her mad :) So I won this week after getting 2nd last week. OUTCOME:WIN 9 Points (Not that it matters when its not Sanctioned) I only got 2 boosters, but one had a Holo Scyther 1st Edition and another had Holo Flareon 1st Edition! (What luck!) These were the last 1st Edition Deja Vu had! My sister got 1 booster and she got a 1st edition Snorlax. There was no 3rd prize because of the low turnout...3rd place was actually my friend Alex...he was furious...he wanted to walk out with something so he just purchased a couple singles...and if you are interested in coming to a Deja Vu tourny then email at the address below and i can supply directions.
