Hi pojo and anyone reading this! I decided to make a new deck that includes
some of the cards that (i think) are powerful in Jungle. The tournament was
held at Collector's Den in Pittsburgh, PA, and i placed second out of 16
people. This was my first, nonfriend, tournament, so i didnt expect to do
all that great, but i guess my choice of cards helped me win. Anyway, heres
the deck;

The deck is alot like a Haymaker, but with more pokemon. I think the
choices are at least somewhat obvious, exept for Jigglypuff. I put it in
for sleep, and that saved me a couple of times. Now, heres the report;

ROUND 1
I played a 14 y/o (i am only 12) with a pretty decent Psycic (gulp) and
water deck. It had Jynx and Gyrados in it. The first game (sorry, i forgot
to add that it was best of three and single elimination) was short. I got
out a Scyther and yes, a green and double colorless energy. He (forgot his
name) did not have time to evolve his pokemon, so i won. The second game
was similar in the beggining, but he managed to get out a Gyrados. Too bad
its weakness is to grass, cause my Scyther won for me again.

ROUND 2
It was against a 16 year old named Mike. He played a traditional Haymaker
that had a good trainer mix. First game i lost because my only pokemon was
Jigglypuff. Arggh! Game number two was a bit fairer because we both got
Hitmons out. I luckily, got to go first, and because neither of us had or
drew any trainers or pokemon, won the game. The last of the series was VERY
close. It went back and forth, until we both had 1 prize left. I had a
farfetch'd, and he had an Electabuzz. I played pokeball, won the flip,
searched for Khan, played it, scooped up Far, and won with my now favorite
Holo! I know it was chance that allowed me to win, but man, pokeball can be
quite handy!

ROUND 3
I was glad i got to the final round but of course my opponent had to be
good to get here. His name was Paul and he was 13 years old. He was playing
Psycic and Fire, which spelled doom for me. I lost first round (nuff said).
Second game was fun. He had a Jynx but wait! Who came to save me?
JIGGLYPUFF!!! That dumb poofball lost me a game already, but against the
lone Jynx it saved me! The last game was close (i had 2 prizes left when he
killed me) and overall, it was a fun day. I won 1 Jungle Booster.
