My deck saved my butt in a tourney between me and 7 other friends of mine at the local card shop. We were playing for a prize of 10 booster packs. The deck makes great use of it's trainers and it is not that hard to get. It is supposed to provide great versatility and ability to keep your pokemon active for as long as possible. All of my cards came from one booster, a starter set, and a Zap deck. Here is my killer deck: Energy: 14 fire cards 12 psychic cards Trainers: 2 pokedex 2 switches 2 gust of winds 1 energy retreival 1 energy removal 1 super potion 3 potions 1 defender 1 computer search Pokemon: 1 Kadabra 2 Abras 2 Jynx 2 Drowzees 2 Haunters 3 gastly 1 Arcanine 2 Growlithes 2 Charmeleons 4 Charmanders In the first round, I played a guy with a psychic and plant deck who drew an Ivysaur first turn. that was no problem because I had drawn a Charmander and my 2 Growlithes. I also got my Computer Search trainer. I used the computer search and got my Arcanine. I used my Charmander against his Ivysaur though because I got first attack and ember made short work of him. The game went just like that all the way through. The next round I fought a guy with plant and water, then in the final I played a guy with water and electric pokemon. He had a Zapdos which killed my Kadabra but that was the only problem I had. In my fresh new boosters i got 3 holo cards! Hitmonchan, Zapdos, and Ninetails. I now try and incorporate my ninetails into my lineup with a few Vulpix's instead of an Arcanine and Growlithes but the extra HP and superiority of Growlithe to Vulpix, it was never the same. this deck is a winner, use the trainers to the huge advantage theat they give you. -The guardian -Hikeon3@hotmail.com _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web.
