Dear Pojo,

I don't know if the tourney that me and my friends organized with the
neighborhood kids counts as an organized tourney but here goes. The deck
I built has a purpose to destroy energy with trainers, water, and
colorless and then use all your pokes to kill your opponent.

>1st round- facing this kid called Ben. Had good cards. He draws 2 Zapdos' in his first hand but can't find any energy. I take out my Machop and use low kick. He's down to 50HP. To make this short. I kicked his ass with a machop. Sad.

>2nd round- Facing my neighbor Gary. He has a fire and fighting deck. I draw a Poliwrath and a poliwhirl. I use Poliwrath on his card... a Charizard! He has energy. He starts laying down cards but every time he's got three energy I use whirlpool and kill him easy. The rest of his cards are really bad like Charmander and Magmar> I kill them all with a Poliwrath but he finally kills me with a machamp. I then come in with a dugtrio and kick his ass> Then I get beat again by his Nidoran which just came out of nowhere.I lose another time and finally get a break by drawing a Machamp to use against his Raichu. I win.

>Semifinals- My best friend Gerard has gotten into the finals so I want to beat my next opponent. The kids name is David. His cards suck. He pulls a Charmander and a Rattata as his best cards. He uses bite on my card. A Machop. 30HP. I then draw a dragonair. I use a hyper beam and he's dead. I go on a hot streak with my poliwhirl then a win by a mile.
Next up... Gerard.

>Finals-Gerard has an electric and psychic deck. He draws a Raich and a Haunter so the Haunters kind of a problem. I easily kill his Raichu with a s-toss. Then Haunter. It kills my Machamp. Ouch! Then I have some luck I draw a dragonair. I use The Slam on him an it takes 60. Boom! He's dead. The rest is history. I breezed trough the rest of his deck because all he ended up drawing was weak electric Pokemon.

I won 5 bucks and 2 Booster Packs. I got a Zapdos in one of the packs
which I then sold for 40 bucks!
