"The Master Deck"
Hey Pojo! I Entered this deck in a tournament on
11-13-99. This deck is fighting and grass type. The tourney was held at a card
shop in East Tennessee. It was best two out of three with three rounds. There
were about fifteen people there. This is my deck.

This is how it went:
Round 1-Game 1
I played my friend, Boone. He was playing a
water/fighting deck. Off the start i drew a rydon, pinsir, scyther, hitmonchan,
and some energy. He drew a magikarp, a squirtle, a machop, and some
energy. I send out my hitmonchan and jabbed his machop for 20. Then he low
kicked me for 20. I played more energy on hitmonchan. I finally killed his
machop. It went on like this for ever. He pulled a hitmonchan out and killed
two of my guys. That's all he would kill though. I win
Round 1 Game-2
I play Boone again because it's double
elimination. He does good this time. I can't get anything on my bench. He has
out a gyrados and on his bench he has 2 hitmonchans and a hitmonlee. He kills
me because i have no bench.
Round 1 Game-3
I play Boone again. He drew crap. I drew scyther,
pinsir, hitmonchan, rydon, energy. I killed him easily. I move on to round
two.
Round 2 Game-1
I play this idiot whose deck is all rattata
and charmander and little weaklings. I smoke him easily.
Round 2 Game-2
I play him again. He holds out a while, but to no
avail. I win.
Round 3 Game-1
This is the final round. I played a guy with a
psychic and water deck. He is VERY good. He kills me the first match with his
poliwrath. I lose.
Round 3 Game-2
I have to win two games or i am out. This time he
can't get any energy. I kill him with my pinsirs and machamp. I WIN THE
TOURNAMENT! All i got was a first edition fossil booster, but i got an
aerodactyl!
