The tournament that I participated in was held at Heroes Unlimited in
Roselle, IL on Saturday,October 23, 1999, and it was non-DCI sanctioned.
There were about 35-45 participants.  The deck that I used was the same as
last week and this weeks competition was very hard.  I won with my Haymaker
and got $20 store credit and after the winner of the loser's bracket got
kicked out I got an extra $5 dollars and the second place winner also got an
extra $5.  First my deck, then the report.

1st round-Samantha with a Fighting/psychic deck
I get a good amount of trainers and am able to beat her in a few minutes with
3  pluspowers which I used on her mankeys, abras, and gastlys(base set).  I
am kind of unhappy to have to play a little girl and beat her in the first
round but after this round I had hard competition.

2nd round-Colin(but he stupidly writes"Little C" on his slip of paper.) with
his fire/water deck with Lapras and fossil Magmar and Ditto.  I luckily had
Electabuzz to go against his Lapras' and Hitmonchan to beat his Magmars after
they would kill my Scythers.  I beat him because he didn't have a very good
hand and I had a little better.

3rd round-Lance with a psychic/lightning stall deck with Zapdos(base set).
This game sucked because I got decked because I wasn't doing anything when I
should have been oaking to kill his abras and chanseys.  But wait, after the
match me and some other people counted his deck and there were 61 cards with
5 abras.  He got disqualified and I got a technical win.  It is a cheap way
to win but so what.

4th round-???(can't remember his name) with a psychic and fighting deck.
Well I was winning pretty easily with him taking a few prizes but then after
I killed a Kadabra with an Electabuzz he brought out Rhyhorn and I was kind
of screwed but luckily I had a Scyther and I drew a doublecolorless and
retreated and killed him with a pluspower.  After that I only needed a couple
more prizes and took my last two.

5th round-Bob with a Moltres deck with fossil Magmar and Chansey
This was a close match but I killed all of his pokemon with Hitmonchan and
Chansey and gusts.  I was close to getting decked but he only did Wildfire
about 8-10 times(energy problems).

Finals-Tim with a Raindance deck.
This was also a close match. We both only needed one more prize to win but I
Impostered him when he had only one card in his hand and he had been trying
to deck me because I used 3 oaks. I put down 2 Chanseys and decked him but I
ended up being only one card ahead.  That was the closest match I played all
day.

I used the $25 to get a holo Clefable($11) and one pack of first edition
fossil and a pack of Jungle.  I got a non-holo Moltres and a non-holo
Vaporeon.  If anyone makes this deck good luck.  My name is Adam and my
