>game 1/3 round 1 Justin blanchard record:0-1
>He had a psi grass and drew an abra and a jynx 2 gamblers and some other
>cards.  He put jynx out against my growlithe, I also drew a zapdos, 2
energy
>removals and 3 energies, 2 fire and an electric.  He kept using meditate
and
>growlithe ended up dying.  I put zapdos out and I couldn't power him up.
He
>killed zapdos.  I had no more basic cards left so I drew one and it was an
>energy. THis is a case that a little more shuffling can't fix.  THe next
>round was much more eventful.
>
>game 2/3 round 1 Justin blanchard record:1-1
>Again using the infamous psi grass deck but his luck ran out. He drew 5
>energies and 2 trainers. I got 2 vulpix 1 ninetales (gym) 1 growlithe 1
>arcanine, and 4 energies (2 fire 1 electric and an double colorless).  I
put
>growlithe out first and evolved him into arcanine against the almighty
>dratini.  It was an easy kill as he couldn't get any energy and arcanine
had
>enough energy for flamethrower.  I drew a prize and got a Gym minefield.
I
>put it out with Acanine and I was against an abra.  Another easy kill with
>the minefield.  He became frustrated and use gambler, he got a tails and
>forfeted.  That is always fun.
>Tip: for these kind of people that are quick to anger, act like you aren't
>frustrated at all no matter how bad they beat you. t only is better for
you
>
>Game 1/3 round 2 Maxwell williams record 1-2
>This guy was a laugh, he was fun to play with though. He had a
psi-fighting
>deck  He thought he could out smart me with his Mr. Mimes, like the genius
>he is he showed me his whole deck, and his hand.  I let him go first
without
>flipping.  He drew a mr. mime a geodude and some energies. He put out
>geodude and used barrage, of course it did no damage.  I got a growlithe 2
>zapdos's and 3 fire and one electric.  I easily killed his Geodude after a
>few turns with that oh so awesome barrage, luckily for me they did
nothing.
>Then out comes the supposed best pokemon, Mr. Mime.  ALthough he really
>wanted to kill me I beat him with flare in 2 turns.  I had 4 prizes left
and
>he had 6 I think you know what happened then.
>
>Game 2/3 round 2 Maxwell williams record 1-3
>EXTREME LUCK FOR ME!!!! growlith arcanine 2 kangaskahn 2 energy removals
and
>a double colorless energy.  He drew an abra and I don't know how man he
has
>in here but another geodude.  Of course, convinced that geodude has the
>potential to do infinite damage he put him out. I put out kangaskhan with
a
>double colorless energy. I did fetch till I got some energies then I did
>comet pucnh and got a few heads every time, 2 at least.  I had knocked out
3
>of his pokemon with kangaskhan and it was time for kangaskhan to go.  He
>died without a chance to retreat. I put out acranine with full power
against
>a gym mewtwo.  I did take down for the knock out and had 2 prizes left.
The
>people at my tournament are quiters but he quit with good reason.
>Tip: If the people are dumb enough take a prize, or more than one card
each
>turn, its survival of the fittest!!! YEA
>
>Game 1/3 round 3 Brad Clinton record 1-4
>The 15 consecutive week champion, I was here to beat him.  His deck was no
>secret, well, at least the pokemon weren't 4 hitmonchans, 4 electa buzzes,
4
>scythers, and 4 kangaskhans.  THis was a tough match that went on for
about
>an hour that I better not go into but the whole round ended up to be him
>winning 1 game and I winning 2 the last one was lucky.
>I got first place for the first time in the championship, I got 20 $ and a
>1st edition Jungle booster pack I bought a gym booster and a fossil with
the
>money and I got a 1st edition holographic Vileplume.
