Justin Balatbat Miroku, Lecherous Monk

Welcome again to Promotional Cards week. Today we have Miroku, Lecherous Monk. Now this monk is very helpful, even in my deck. Unfortunately, he is a promo card only given in the InuYasha TCG League in the first season; however, there are other Mirokus that could be used out there.

Anyway, this card is strong, not be cause of his colors, but rather of his effects instead. This will come in handy if you already have female characters in play that are very useful. It practically becomes an InuYasha, Sota's Hero, but only for two characters. Unfortunately, there is a back effect to that protection: He has to be ready...which isn't too bad, but what if you need to attack with him first or he becomes expended because of an effect of a card? Then your females that he is protecting is screwed. But still, the effect is worth considering in a female protection deck.

His other effect, which is to shuffle a card for every female is pretty cool too. Since they could only attack him, if you only have him and 2 other females in play, they have to defeat him first before anything else could happen. Two cards for a shard they steal, not too bad.

Casual Play: 3/5
Tournament Play: 3.2/5 Only if his colors were stronger...
Female Protection Deck: 3.5/5

Art: 3/5 It's Miroku, anything else to say?
